This is my family's favorite place for sushi and Chinese food. The staff is always friendly & fast, the food is always fresh & delicious. Mitsuru-Ya is a little more expensive than their competitors but definitely worth it.
The portions were small & the food was decent. The one major plus about this place is that nobody is ever there.
There are a few good places for sushi in York but this is a great place for sushi. Friendly staff. Unique rolls. My favorite roll is the beef and asparagus roll. Start off with the seaweed salad and some hot green tea.
Dishes here are consistently delicious. I can always count on a good meal. Can definitely taste the difference as compared to other sushi spots due to the high quality fish. Food is also done at the estimated time given. Closest thing to Pacific sushi here in central PA
My family used to love this spot for sushi!! Not anymore!!!!0000Now the prices have skyrocketed I’ve never seen such a small piece of sushi I spent $35 on 2 rolls, and usually that would be my dinner… immm I’m still starving, it’s not even like they had a lot of rice and less meat dry, very little meat/fish!! straight downhill!!!! No wonder it was empty inside!!Also, we ordered three green teas $2.99esch,, tasted lk pure fishy taste more than disgusting!!!AVOID THIS S8ip-hole!! Also our waitress kept digging inside her ear n smelling it? Wth n serving our food!I just wanted everyone to have this information so you don’t waste your money here!!!So on the sushi platter you don’t even get the spicy mayo it’s $1.75 for a tiny tiny bit of it. The green wasabi wasn’t the platter but it was such a small amount not enough for 20 some piecesThe shrimp n broccoli was just bland
Years ago Mitsuru had the best sushi in York, it was innovative and fresh. I am so disappointed with my latest order. The crispy spicy tuna roll had the smallest pieces i’ve ever seen, and the $18 dynamite roll must have had 1 chopped up scallop on top of the entire roll. The salmon in the dynamite roll was cooked, despite it being a raw sushi item. The wonton soup broth tasted like straight bone broth with no seasoning, and the 2 wontons were subpar.Should have just gone to Kissho.
Due to the amazing reviews i read, I decided to come to this place and support our locals.I must say, the place itself is pretty clean, however, our server was a bit rude. She seemed irritated even when I asked about their drinks or sauces.
We love this place. They’re open consistently even through Covid and their food is delicious. My favorite is the steak and shrimp Hibachi and the mountain roll.
The absolute best miso soup! And hibachi is so dang good!! If you're in the mood for sushi, theirs is fabulous!
Some of the best Sushi in the York area.
