It had been years since we had been to the historic York Central Market and made a point of stopping here for breakfast before heading farther north on our trip. Though opening at 7, the market was pretty empty at 8 when we arrived, but we found this tremendous breakfast spot open and waiting. The prices couldn't be more reasonable, and the food was fantastic. I had the excellent ($6.95) French toast with 4 large pieces, syrup and 2 large sausages that were as good as I have had. The $2 orange juice was nice, compared to many places these days and my wife enjoyed a loaded #3 omelet, full of ham, green peppers, onions and cheese. Service was quick and the employees were very friendly. Nothing beats a nice early breakfast on the road in a treasured 134 year old historic property. Sorry it took so long to get back here.

Italian dinner for 20 was fantastic! Best was the Italian sausage with peppers! We had meatballs, baked ziti, lasagna, Salad, sandwiches and cannolis! Delicious food, easy to keep leftovers, friendly service complete with burners and buffet frames! We’ll be back!
I never had a breakfast with such great flavors! It was incredible! Highly recommend!
