This place has to be ran and managed by incompetent people. Every time I come here something with my order is messed up. I understand people can forget things, that’s natural. But literally every single time? Do better. I pay for extra modifications, never get them, pay for items, don’t receive them. And honestly, how do you forget pickles on a sandwich that LITERALLY ONLY COMES WITH PICKLES on it?! It only takes a couple seconds to double check things :)
App says store is opened until 2:59 am (even though Google says it’s 24 hrs). My son and I each placed orders. When we went to pick them up, we sat in the drive thru for 5-10 mins before someone finally acknowledged us. They then told us they were already closed and that we would have to figure out how to be refunded through the app.Completely unacceptable!! If the store closes earlier, it should be clearly stated on the app. I mean, the app even knows when their ice cream machine is down, but you’re telling me it doesn't have accurate store hours?!We wasted gas which is extremely expensive as well as lost a chance to purchase food elsewhere because of how much of our time was wasted.How can you expect your customers to rely on your company if the stores cant even maintain their own declared hours?! Ridiculous and unacceptable!!!
It has definitely improved since I moved to York a year ago. They have new staff and it appears that they're training them to be more professional. It's nice to walk-in and not see the employees underwear, cursing, horse playing, or just fooling around and not acknowledging customers. I can't say that everyone was professional but it's slowly improving.

I always tell myself to review this place but never do. This morning was a major miss. However, it wouldn’t deter me from returning from previous experiences. Generally, the staff is amazing and service is quick. The best part of this location is the person who takes orders and payments. He generally has bedazzled nails and ALWAYS brings such positive energy. I’ve had some rough times recently and someone in a fast food window would never know. But this persons infectious positivity has been the small uplift I needed on more than one occasion. On top of that, he calls me (and everyone who gives a code from the app) by name. I’m a professional in a long term career devoted to customer service and this person is an absolute rockstar. What an amazing “face” for the company. Thank you, Rockstar!
I worked here and had to quit. Some of the associates and management here are wonderful people who make the establishment a great place to work and eat. There are also some management who create a hostile work environment DAILY. This often times lead to the slow service you may receive here. Management could do with some interpersonal relationship classes so they can learn how to treat everyone around them. Most management talk on their cell phones while handling food and customers in the front of house. I do not regret leaving because I didn't see a future here where even the store's general manager didn't want me to succeed. Instead she made fun of me with other managers and associates. This location either needs better management, or they should close. I won't even return to eat here.
This restaurant is so-so. Sometimes they have good service and sometimes I wait 15 minutes for cold nuggets. I wouldn't recommend this location to be quite honest.
Fast and friendly, but food was horrible. Bread was the worst ' stale and brittle. Lettuce was wilted and brown. And fries were luke warm eventhough it was the lunch time rush. Just poor quality.
It took 14mins for them to get my order for dine in ready with NOBODY in front of me waiting. (Food was great) service and how some managers talked to other employees was not ok.
Just wanted to say, I went to the McDonald’s on Memory Lane and used the same deal without any issues AND they gave excellent customer service. They just clicked the sandwhich I wanted and asked for the code and it worked. So if only the manager would’ve took the time and effort to try, that situation could’ve been avoided but she let her ego and attitude get the best of her. So don’t waste your money at this McDonald’s until the issues with management gets the attention and change that’s needed. Go to Memory Lane McDonald’s for quick, friendly service!
