Great sushi deals as well as big rolls. The sushi is well put together and all staff care about customer service.
Menu has a lot to choose from. Apps, sushi, rolls, dinners, and Yaki style noodles. They put a lot of pride in their food.
Service was so bad. Attitude of the employees was terrible.
I attended this restaurant with my sister and her friend and I have to say the atmosphere was all right but we can tell we were being judge and did not feel welcomed as black people in an Asian restaurant I feel as though they expected us to not have money we ordered sake we ordered expensive drinks it was only a three drink limit our waiter wasn’t very attentive Also there was a lot of things we couldn’t order and when we asked Our waiter she claimed that they couldn’t get access to them because of Covid and she kind of seemed like she was ready for us to leave we were really the only ones in the restaurant we weren’t too loud. When we went to the bar the bartender basically hid from us and ignored us and we had to wait on her actual waiter to pour us drinks and she didn’t even know how to make the drinks that we requested because the bartender refused to serve us making us feel even more than welcomed we still were able to enjoy ourselves the food was really The only thing that saved the restaurant I will say they take pride in their food.
We dined here on a Saturday night and enjoyed the hibachi as well as sushi. The soup and salads that came with the Hibachi were good as well! This place is very good for the price and I was impressed with how hard the waitress was working. She easily had eight or nine tables, and still gave solid service. I would recommend this as a typos choice for a Japanese and sushi option in York.
This used to be my go to restaurant for sushi but it has gone down hill drastically. The last time I was there I got a spicy tuna roll and an order of tuna sushi. I knew right away from looking at it that something wasn't right but I figured they wouldn't serve something that was bad. I took one bite of the tuna sushi and couldn't eat another bc of how different the texture and taste were. I tried the spicy tuna and it was way way more spicy than what masa used to do. I threw everything out. I'm afraid to go back and waste my money on another possible bad order. Masa please do better!! You used to be the best!
Great sushi place. Take out only. Fairly knowledgeable on gluten (that was important to our group. Time will tell.
We rarely place bad comments on restaurant sites: however, we were very disappointed in our order. The agadashi tofu was overdone and tasted as though the oil had been re-used. The dipping sauce was sour and inedible. Chewy and dry. The salmon dinner was also over cooked and hard. The rice was dry and appeared old. We ended up throwing our dinner away and will not return to MASA
This place used to be my go to for sushi. But I won’t be going back. Eel on top of my Louck’s roll was old, there was no coconut flakes on top and my once favorite Valentines roll tasted nothing like it used to. Not to mention the oil they fried the shrimp tasted like if it hasn’t been changed in weeks.. ?
This location used to be first capital credit union and we have been coming since Masa opened. We loved Masa but over the last year it has gone downhill. We will not be coming back. The wasabi is not real anymore, it’s powdered and horrible. They give you less ponzu sauce for dumplings and they give awful soy sauce packets which are disgusting. It’s just not worth it anymore. You can’t even eat inside anymore. We will go to Blue Koi in Hanover it’s excellent and they have REAL wasabi and ginger and dine in with awesome service.GOODBYE MASA.
