I highly recommend this place. This is my go to for breakfast (they serve alcohol for breakfast. ?) but they make so much more. I just have to shout out a great server named Beth. She dealt with a “Karen” today and was amazing. She’s probably waited on me 10-20 times. She’s awesome! There are a few great servers here. I wish I knew all their names. They know who I am and treat me so nice every single time I go in. I also pay attention to other interactions and I’ve never had a complaint other than minor normal things. Remember we are all human. Treat people how you want to be treated. Beth is always a star. Thank you!!

First love the old nostalgic look all shiny on the outside. The menu has a little variety for everyone. I love breakfast anytime of the day so I got the meat lovers omelet. The food was spot on very tasty. Truly worth a visit if in the area. Food is rather average price nothing expensive.

There isn’t much to do in York, but honestly this diner made the stay tolerable. Their food and drinks are so reasonably priced, service is fast and friendly, and never tried a dish I didn’t like. We frequented this place and were always treated well. All the staff was great. Highly recommend if you’re passing through!

Went here on Mother's Day. We were seated very quickly, food and service were excellent. Now the problems: Overcharged approximately $2.00 per meal, compared with the prices listed on the menu. Also had a "service charge" on the bill which I have no idea what it was for? Being the meal was good and service was excellent I decided not to complain about the additional costs. Then came the most negative part of the whole visit to this diner - the cashier was absolutely the most negative person I've ever dealt with in any visit to any restaurant. She literally threw my credit card back to me and told me to insert it in the provided slot. A receipt wasn't offered and when I asked for a copy of it she started slamming things on the counter. Her attitude was absolutely terrible and I will never return to this establishment!

Food was freshly prepared and hot. Servers, hostess, wait staff were all very pleasant and kind even though we came in with six children. They took the time and sat us away from the other diners. Menu is extensive you can get anything. Food was excellent I definitely recommend

Good food and fast service.

Super great food. Not super expensive. Can get anything on the menu all day long. The pot roast was so good. Did not have a long wait although the parking lot was full and had to park across the street. Will definitely go again.

Ate here back in 2014 a few times when I had family living in town. It was great then. Fast forward to January 2022. I was in town for a couple of hours, had skipped lunch, and it was 4pm. Decided to to the Lyndon. The menu is huge, so it's hard to decide what to order especially when you are hungry. For some reason the crab cakes sounded good. They are described as 'lump with minimal filler' and priced at $30, they should be. But...they aren't. There was plenty of filler, and instead of being a 'cake' it was more an ice cream scoop of shredded crab . The fries and slaw were edible, but nothing to write home about. The salad (which was huge) is something to write the health inspector about. Big chunks of iceberg which literally had water running out of them, a few grape tomatoes, some shredded cheese and plain croutons don't a salad make. Seriously, there was so much water in the salad the dressing wouldn't coat the lettuce. I couldn't eat it. I did get a dessert, which was just ok. With tip my bill was $48. For one person at a diner? It's also a dirty place, and some staff look the same. I would have rated it poor but gave it average because the kid who was running the cash register was really friendly and tried to have an engaging conversation...not something commonly found in a high-schooler working food service.

Had a wonderful after work breakfast. Great being able to get bar food in the am and a cold beer. Staff was friendly and cheerful, food was great. I was surprised at how much fun we had. I'll be going for a burger and beer more often.

I went here for the first time on a Thursday for an early lunch. It was busy but we were seated right away. Service was quick and good. The fried chicken sandwich was great! Their selection of cakes and cookies was very tempting... I will be back :)
