My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. It was our first time visiting. We both ordered the cream of crab soup. I was so surprised at how delicious it was. So much so I bought a quart to take home. We will definitely be back to enjoy some more of your seafood dishes.
My friends and I went there last night and we usually don't have any problems however I had ordered the crab pretzel and when it came there was a piece of aluminum foil in it.. I called the waitress over and showed it to her and said what is this. Her explanation was that when it's put in the oven it's put on foil so it probably got caught in there. She proceeded to stick her finger in my food to pull it out I was very upset with this and told her to take it away and not charge me. I was not charged for it however I found this to be very disgusting not sure if we'll be returning.
This is my first time going to this place,with my wife,daughter,and mother in law. And the crabs, was good. But I think it's running a close race,with Maryland crabs. But I will come back again, with my family.
I came here to celebrate my daughter's 19th birthday. This was our first time coming and boy everything was delicious! They have friendly waitresses and staff We came here for the food and the CRABS!!! ???. Let me explain something, I'm from Maryland born and raised. I have been living in PA for a couple of years. This is the ONLY place I have been to that knows how to season and steam CRABS!!! ???My mom got the last jumbo crabs (1/2 dozen left) and my daughter, husband and I got the XL CRABS!!! ??? These crabs are cooked fresh and are heavy and meaty!!! Chillleee (Child, in my Maryland accent) that was some good eating. I wonder if they can steam them in Miller Beer? That's the way I like it (The Maryland Way Lol ?) Most definitely going back!!! ??????????????????????
Disappointed they got rind of the old menu. Had the crab cakes bad no flavor. Husband had one to we felt sick after eating later.
Delicious seafood at reasonable prices. I always love the spinach salad and chicken corn soup. Do not be fooled by the dated inside--it's part of the charm!
Typical bar food with the exception of the Seafood. For some reason it is always good (by that I mean fresh in addition to properly prepared) and reasonably priced.
I've heard a couple people say this is a really good place and we finally were able to go see it and try it for ourselves. I have to say the food, itself, was good and seemed to be a good portion for the prices they charged. As far as the environment was concerned, when we were there I was not very busy so our server was great and we didn't have any issues.
Stopped by last night 3/29/2022 for dinner at the bar. Haddock sandwich was very under cooked, cold raw in center. Fries and salad were good. Waitress was great. This was my first time dinning at Kelly's in many years.
I called to order some hard shell crabs to take out. The gentleman I spoke to told me I couldn’t do take-out because they didn’t have a lot of crabs and were saving them for inhouse. I explained I was caring for my 92 year old mother and I could only do take out. He refused to accomodate me and I was in the middle of asking him another possible way to solve the issue and he hung up on me! I love their hardshells but did not love being treated rudely!! I am still in shock.
