Food isn't that spectacular. Tuna salad is really strange, adding chunks of carrots in it. But the thing that bothered me most is that I asked for no lettuce, tomato, or onion...add pickles, and they charged me TWO DOLLARS for a few pickles. That gross. I won't be ordering from them again. It's really shady to take advantage of customers like that, when ordering through a food delivery service.
Though they probably have the same issue every other restaurant has with limited staffing, our service was pretty good. We got a lemon slice placed in a soda instead of a water, which wasn't recognized until after a lemon-enhanced taste, then had to chase someone down for a replacement beverage. The food, however was very good! I ordered a Buffalo chicken stromboli, which is not on the menu, and the kitchen nailed it. They should totally add it ?♀️
Philly cheesesteak had great bread and was tasty, wings were a little on the small and dry side but had good sauces. Friendly staff. Would come again and try something different.
I use to eat at this place back in the 1990’s the pizza at that time was extra good. Today I used the drive through, the wait time after my 10 minute drive felt like it took forever and the food was ok. I asked for a 2 Philadelphia cheese Steaks but it was like they took the meat that should have been in one and put it in the 2 of them. It had no green peppers, no mushrooms and the bread it was put in would have been nice for a sub, but not a Philadelphia cheese-steak and practically no flavor. I don’t like to be overly critical however it’s about a 3 Hour Drive. from where I live to Philadelphia may be someone at this establishment should take the drive to Philadelphia to get a cheesesteak to know what it should taste like I am very disappointed.
Good, local Italian restaurant in West York featuring Italian classics, pizza, and wings. For us, the highlight is the pizza, garlic knots, and other baked goods that come from their kitchen. It's usually our go-to spot for pizza. Great Margherita pizza. Wings are above average. Salads are very fresh. The garden Salad I had the other day was very satisfying with crisp vegetables.Their classic Italian dishes are generally in the "good" column. It is not in the same level as Gabriella in Harrisburg, but it is a solid local spot.Taking everything into consideration, the food is typically between 3 and 4 stars, but the service, atmosphere, and general "feel" of the restaurant has always been well above average. I enjoy eating here and feel like I get my money's worth when taking all elements into consideration.
Every time you order it takes literally 2 hours for the food to come. And then once you get the food it's cold, lacking something or the order is wrong. I've tried to give them chances but no more.
I grew up on Genova's cheese steaks. Always a favorite. Haven't had one in quite some time, so tonight's dinner was decided. I give 2 star's because the staff that I interacted with were polite and friendly. The sandwich was extremely lacking everything. Three bites in on the first half and I was out or steak. I opened the other half and this is what I found. One sandwich would have been a mistake but both were like this. I understand portion control, but this is not worth the money.
Staff, food, and drinks were great, ?We recommend a visit to Genova's Italian Restaurant.
Although my girls and I were bummed to have skiing canceled due to inclement weather, our hearts were warmed by the jolly beer flight and scrumptious large meals! As my bestie says, “When in York, PA!” You go to Genovas!
Friendly staff, wonderful wings, very impressive drink menu. Nice looking interior as well. The fact that they either brew, or source their alcohol from PA based companies was very impressive, refreshing to see.
