Chili no flavor. $26 bucks for two people? Go to sheets or rutters. I think the sell two dogs for $3 exact same product. Told the cashier this is the first and last time I come here.Stealing from people.
This is absolutely some of the worse food I've ever eaten. The hot dog tasted like boild mush and the chili was canned meat with no flavor. Should have known when I walked in, looking at the 900 items on the menu that they didn't have one thing worth eating. Please do your self a favor and if your not a fan of this place already, for what ridiculous reason.. Don't risk your gut aching for hrs on this disgusting house of horrible food products!
I stopped here on have one of their hot dog and french fry specials. The french fries were just typical frozen french fries ever fried, so there was nothing impressive about them. As far as the hot dogs were concerned I do have to say they were large with a lot of toppings on them. Probably my biggest issue was that the onions they used, at least that day, were not sweet onions they were regular onions and had a spicy flavor to them, which I was not a big fan of.
Best food ever! Brings a little Hanover into York. Highly recommend. Service is great, quick, and food is always hot and delicious
Can't say enough good things about this chain. Equal quality to the original Hanover locations. Food is AMAZING!
Always good hot food...Enjoy it
Ordered from here for the first time and as soon as we unwrapped the food it smelled rancid. I think the onions were rotten. We didn't even attempt to eat it.
Meh. Way too many onions. Chili was bland. Dude behind the counter one cocky sob. No thanks.
We shared the 2 hotdogs special. The fries were very good. Read the story on how the establishment came to be. A Greek immigrant came thru Ellis Island. Worked on the railroad, ended up in Pa.
Whether it's Hanover, or this version in York, there is little ill to speak of the Famous! The food is ALWAYS prepped fresh, then served piping hot, and delivered to your table by the friendliest people in the hot dog business! Trying to avoid nitrates? Try an Egg & Cheese with Everything (light onions, of course). Want a bit of meat but not hot dogs? Try out the Chicken Sandwiches (served on hot dog buns!) The burgers are alright, but not an enormous fan of them here (I rank burgers pretty constantly). But the chili is honestly the secret sauce! Great on just about anything! And with prices so low, you can't go wrong with an under $10 lunch (or dinner). Stop by and tell 'em Jeff sent you! (You won't get a discount or anything, but at least you'll get a big smile!)
