This place is absolutely amazing and delicious! I have stomach issues so most places make my stomach ache and when I tell you this place is one of the few restaurants that doesn’t make my stomach hurt. And their fresh squeezed juices are amazing. Definitely coming back and recommending her restaurant to literally everyone. The staff and owner are so friendly. Thank you soooo much!!
La Comida está Buenísima 100%Reconmedado
The best empanadillas in the area hands down a good experience highly recomend checking them out
The best food I’ve had in long time! Excellent Cuban sandwich and fantastic chicken, rice and fried plantains with their Momma’s special sauce. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. Nothing is premade ! All fresh! I am angry that it took 4 years for us to try it!
We met some friends there. Honestly some of the most authentic Puerto Rican food I have had in a long time. My Mom is an awesome cook and this was as good if not better (hope my Mom doesn’t read this =) )I loved the plantains with crushed garlic... never had that before and it’s was to die for. The Mofongo with the pork was also delicious. Everything we tried was off the chains. ( pretty big group that was trying everything ) Will definitely go back... just typing this makes me want to grab one of my brothers and go up for lunch and it’s a good 40 minutes from where I live but it is worth the drive.
Stopped in the Latin Corner after my son wanted Burger King and I remembered someone raving to me about their cuban sandwich so I told my husband and son I was going to order something from the Latin Corner. The restaurant is in a small little strip of stores right next to Burger King in Spring City. You will miss the road if you are not paying attention and once you turn you may think you are still going the wrong way. But if you drive down you will see it. Its a tiny little restaurant, only about 8-10tables. You are suppose to order your food at the counter, grab a drink from the frig and then wait for them to bring you the food. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich and a corn fritter stuffed with cheese to go. They were so friendly. The sandwich was amazing, the pork was so tender, the roll that was pressed or grilled was amazing. The sandwich is $9.75 but it was soo good. The corn fritter was delicious as well, a little sweet but so yummy. My husband definitely regretted getting Burger King that nite and I know we will visit the Latin Corner again since it is so close to us. I am so glad I finally stopped in to try it.
Every 2 months we drive an hour from where we live to the Latin Corner restaurant for THE BEST authentic Puerto Rican food in the Philadelphia region! Nothing IN Philly or outside of it compares! The place is off the main street area of Spring City (near Royersford)...quiet, clean and very reasonable. We know exactly what we're going to order every time...pulled pork, beef stew. arroz con gandules, alcapuria, potato balls, tostones, madras...enough to eat & take home for tomorrow! Great food & service...just so good! Well worth a drive if you're not in the area. Wish is was closer to home!
The mofongo here is very good. This time I had it with the chicken instead of pork. I also tried the roast pork with rice. The food here is always so flavorful. The service is warm and friendly.
I don't know which is better, the great food or the people that own it. The food was delicious and the owners are great conversationalists. You come in, sit down, the menu is attached to the table, you decide what you would like to drink, go to the counter to order and get your drink of choice from the cooler and when your food is ready it is delivered to you. But of course the owner insisted he take my order so I didn't have to go to the counter! Your food is prepared from scratch and is AMAZING! I had the Cuban sandwich and the corn fritters with cheese. Both were delicious and so large that I couldn't finish them. The owners, husband and wife, are wonderful people and love to chat. Warning, it is located in a strip mall and a bit hard to find. My GPS got me in the area but not to the place. I had to call the person who had recommended it to help me find it. But well worth the effort. I'll be back!
the food is made to order - that means when you order it, then it will be made from scratch and it does not take forever .. even the drinks are from the islands .. enjoyed each and every time we go and try diff. items .. shared the food around the table .. everyone friendly and it's such a nice place to eat
