There's a nice patio out back to enjoy warm weather. I ordered the 10 oz filet and added a crabcake. Both were delicious. The filet was like melting butter in my mouth. I also had the crab with spinach dip. It was creamy and cheesy. They have nice views from upstairs.
My amazing boyfriend wanted to take me somewhere nice to eat and wouldn’t tell me where! He took me to Eagles nest which is one of the nicest restaurants I have ever been too. The view as well as they have a very nice deck, it was a bit too hot and humid to want to sit outside. We were sat near the window with a beautiful view. Their menu had a lot of great sounding choices. Our server Chris was very attentive, friendly and informative. We were both very pleased with the service we received! We got the crab dip appetizer and it is the best crab dip I’ve ever had!! Their food came out fast and to perfection! I got the Delmonico steak and Christian got the prime rib. Both came out cooked perfectly. I hope to come back again sometime in the near future!
Great place to have a drink or dine! Staff (host, hostesses, & wait staff) are exceptional—they know the menu and they have excellent people skills! They are invested in the success of this restaurant. Food is high quality, served quickly, always hot and flavorful.One of the BEST dining experiences in York! We’ve been here many times and have had both seafood and steak—all of it is delicious! Quality of food/service is well above other restaurants in this price range. You’d want reservations on weekends—easy online system to do so.
Chris was an friendly, attentive server! Ordered based on his recommendations and enjoyed a delicious meal and cocktails. We will return.
Everything was delicious! My husband had the rockfish trio, which he said was a wow. I had the shrimp stuffer special was a wow also. The crabmeat on top of the shrimp was probably the best I have had. Our server Brian was extremely helpful and checked on us throughout our meal.
One of the best restaurants in York County. Very well executed, fresh food. Good service. I highly recommend for a quality meal.Edit 5/31: I still agree with my original review that this is a top restaurant in York, but it second experience wasn't as impressive as the first. We strayed from seafood and a couple of us got some beef dishes. In my opinion, they execute seafood extremely well, their execution of the beef dishes was mediocre.My recommendation: you can't go wrong with any of the seafood dishes we've tried. The beef dishes (prime rib, filet, etc.), although clearly high quality ingredients, we're not executed as well as they could have been.
Upon walking in the door we are greeted with a welcoming smile by the hostess. We were seated very quickly in a space that had a wonderful view, Our charming waiter Chris was one point with everything letting us know about all the specials and recommending a great drink which was the sangria mule, I rate that a 100. We started with the crab dip asan appetizer which was also delicious. Our food order was taken and delivered in a timely manner, fresh, hot and very tasty! We were never rushed through our meal and was checked on periodically by Chris. WE really enjoyed our dinning experience and would love to revisit The Eagles Nest. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Had an amazing dinner! Best Prime Rib in York County! Chris our server was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick at task!!! He did a super job for us he even made me some of his very own recipe of horseradish dip for my prime rib….yummy! My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful view inside and outside from the upper level of the restaurant! We had a very nice evening! Took dessert home with me!
Highly recommend! Their food is absolutely delicious and service was excellent. I had the Chilean sea bass and my husband had the prime rib. Everything was cooked perfectly and served promptly. Our server Chris made our experience awesome and was very attentive.
