Food is always great. Just tend to forget items in order.

I visited Colonial Coffee on two occasions. Let me first say the shop is adorable. It's retro vibe is warm and inviting. The food and coffee are excellent. It is the wait staff that is a problem. On my first visit the waitress was curt and unpleasant. I chalked it up to how busy the place was and let it go. I did note that she and other wait staff exchanged pleasantries with a handful of customers. So I'm lead to believe you have to be a regular to be treated respectfully. On my second visit I made the mistake of sitting at one of her tables and again was made to feel like we were a bother. My friend spilled coffee and attempted to clean it up. Another waitress assisted him and did nothing to make him feel less embarrassed. If anything he felt worse. She then walked a few feet away from our booth within full view and rolled her eyes at another employee. I'm just glad my friend did not see her. The two people whom I believe to be the owners are very nice and welcoming. I don't understand why the wait staff's behavior goes unnoticed and unchecked. I guess they are doing well enough that rudeness doesn't discourage clientele
Great food and service for a good price! We went for breakfast and I ordered the feta cheese omelet with home fries and pita bread. It was absolutely delicious!
My family loves the Colonial Coffee Shop for breakfast. The food is consistent and always good. Wait staff is always attentive. A great place to eat!

I love this place! The food is amazing and the service is excellent! The cooks here will have your order ready super fast! Take-out is quick as well! Great place for some coffee and home fries! The bagel sandwich is a must-try.
Second time coming here for breakfast. Our waitress was great. The food.....not so much. The cook ignored the request for well done home fries and scrapple. Owner does not seem interested in anything except being the cashier and looking at his phone while seated at the counter (I'm looking right at him). Will not being coming back.
Haven't had breakfast here in a few years and was not disappointed.
