Where to begin… I have been coming to this bakery since September and they have really evolved, every time I walk in there is just so many options. I highly recommend the chocolate braids, custard filled clamshells, and of course the pineapple upside mini cakes. It’s nice to visit this shop and grab a pasty and coffee. It’s a family run business, so you will be seeing the same amazing family every time you stop by, they are a delight. I am so glad Buttercream Dream Bakery is in West York.
Buttercream Dream Bakery is one of our favorite places to go on a weekend, they serve the most amazing breakfast sandwiches, quiche, pastries, and more! We discovered them on Groupon before Christmas and they have been a weekly destination. The dining room is very clean, the family that runs it will have you laughing as soon as you walk in. The coffee is definitely a must, especially the “Jammin Jamaican.” If you are a cupcake lover, look no further, with over 70 flavors available, they are sure to be the next hit of any party. Buttercream Dream Bakery has saved me so much time that I can order online!
The selection of baked goods is nice - there are definitely some options that I was pleasantly surprised to see.The chai latte was horrific. It’s Oregon chai “concentrate” with your milk of chai, frothed. My main problem is the Oregon chai. It’s a brand you can get it easily at the grocery store, which wouldn’t be a problem if it was good but it’s really really gross. The concentrate is already weak (even for the “spiced” version is weaker than bagged tea) and the flavor is not good.For a bakery that seems pretty well stocked otherwise, I feel distinctly cheated and appalled I spent my money on the latte - but by the time I saw the container the man had pulled out he was already pouring so I payed for it.If they want something similar to their current setup, I don’t see why they don’t get the whole spices & make a masala chai syrup every other week.
Was there today and my cupcake was frozen, and we got macarons and they were so small and so hard, when you bit into it, it fell apart crumbled everywhere, they are not to be that dry. Maybe they were having an off day, but I wasn’t impressed, $12 for 6 quarter sized Macarons.
I just tried their new gluten-free vanilla cupcake, and I could've eaten a dozen! The vanilla flavor was delicious and the cake was so moist, not to mention the amazing buttercream! Another wonderful treat on a Sunday morning!??
The best bakery there is. We got our 50th anniversary cake here. It was beautiful and very affordable . Our venue was very impressed. It was very delicious andWould recommend Buttercream Dream highly.
The cupcakes and breakfast sandwiches were amazing, but more wonderful was the family/staff working there. Friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, they made us happy to be there. highly recommend visiting!

Buttercream Dream's croissants are the BEST I've ever had! So buttery and flakey! Delicious! Everything from the cupcakes to chocolate croissants is wonderful! It's a little dangerous for us that Tony and his crew are just down the street!
Absolutely amazing. The breakfast sandwich was made with fresh scrambled eggs and very filling. The cupcakes are amazing, there are so many different flavors and I like how they have original and boozy cupcakes! So adorable and the service was great. They even have a rewards program. This is a must try! ??
