Top notch as always!! Food and service..
Go somewhere else, this place is only riding on it's former good reputation. Paid $40.00 plus for four, very small lamb medallions that were full of gristle and fat. Could not eat-- Impossible to chew. It came with a few veggies that were raw-- Brussel sprouts as hard as pretzels to chew, really raw. After ordering was told that the chef was not there but the chef they had was a disciple of the real chef and we could not tell the difference between the two. Wait staff did not wear a mask and loved to be in our face--- during Omicron days, January, 2022. When told I was no a fan of the meal I could not eat was told that I could get a free dessert. I replied that I did not want desert, that I wanted to pay for a meal that I could eat which I did not get here. Wait woman was very un-preprofessional, stating she has been there since the beginning of this restaurant. No prices are listed, the wait woman disliked my friend when she declined to order a "main meal"l due to this. Loud, with many close tables, impossible to hear my friend talk. Complete rip-off; this used to be my favorite restaurant in this area. Sorry to experience it's demise at a high price. Fifty dollars may seem little to you for a meal that was not edible, in which case I apologize and definitively do not agree with you. My friend's food, by the way, had too much salt and was quite bland, This stopped being close to fine dining at the get-go. We both said we should have left instead of staying there, Hated to give a tip for nothing in return., She is milking us; all she cares about. So obvious.
The chef is the best in the area and the waitress didn't miss a beat with our large group!
We had a wonderful meal at the Saffron Grill - from appetizers to dessert - everyone loved the dishes they chose. The flavors and presentation of each dish was top notch.Starting with the reservation and throughout the entire meal the service was attentive and gracious. We started with a reservation for 3 but another couple asked to join and the staff at the restaurant was able to accommodate us.
We enjoyed an absolutely delicious dinner at Saffron Grill & Catering last night.. it was our visit but will definitely not be our last. The food is fabulous and the service is excellent.
We had dinner with friends last evening at Saffron. First time for us at the restaurant. We celebrated my birthday in fine style with great food! Great appetizers, especially the crab “cigars” and the filled pepper. The mussels pomodoro and the grilled artichoke hearts were also delicious. Caprese salad with salmon is a must try. Entrees were all great, especially the bucatini Amatriciana and the ravioli with salmon. This is a BYOB restaurant. No cork charge, etc. The chef/owner was born in Tunisia and had worked in restaurants in Europe as well as here in the USA before opening Saffron six years ago. Mediterranean fusion at its best.
Terrible owner with a mouth that needs to be shut for him. He can’t seem to understand when to shut up and walk away before something bad happens to him. Bad food but the server’s are great.
Maher is an excellent restaurateur, the atmosphere, service, and of course the food was all impressive, don't be afraid to stuff yourself with the highest quality food around.
Great food and very high class. Nothing like this in this area!
We ordered a catered meal for a small celebration and were thrilled! The food was absurdly delicious and flawlessly executed. Chef was incredibly helpful with the planning and made the process so easy. We cannot wait to dine in soon!
