We went on a recommendation from a plant we were visiting in town (wscc). It was a brilliant recommendation! I'm not the expert on cheesesteaks and actively avoid most things Philly, but this cheesesteak was amazing and huge! You'll wait a minute, be patient, it's worth the wait 100%. Thanks!!
Pretty good for the most part, bread was a little tough. Overall great sandwiches, will go back again for sure.
This local, family run sub shop is a hidden gem! The two ladies in there, were extremely friendly and appreciated my family coming to dine with them! The sandwiches and wraps were large and delicious. The bread was freshly made and you could tell with the first bite. This is a must for a quick bite. Will definitely be visiting again!
Excellent subs with friendly staff!! Unfortunately I went 3 times on my trip to the area and ordered subs that were supposed to be toasted. The first time I was told you have to order it cosmo so on my second trip I did order a ham cosmo, it was excellent and the roll was toasted perfectly, but the third trip didn't end as well. I ordered a cheesesteak cosmo and they didn't toast the roll, but they wrapped it in foil not sure how that helps!
I was very disappointed. The half cosmo was more like a 1/4. Was charged $33 for 2 half subs,a choc. milk and a soda. My stupidity for not calling them out on it.

Staff are friendly. The dining area is small but very clean. The food was amazing, whenever we are in Williamsport area we make it a point to go there.
I been a long time customer to this speciffic establishment. Been getting subs here sense I was a kid. However I've noticed the last 3-4yrs their customer service has taken a serious nose dive. I noticed they had switched staff as well.Seems like sense switching staff things changed a lot! For example...-can never get through to place an order because you constantly get "This number is currently unavailable at this time!" Which then cuts you off with no voice mail or anything. Meaning they probably took the phone off the hook (which I have witnessed couple times.)-when YOU CAN GET THROUGH sometimes you are a greeted with someone who treats you like an annoyance.-had one act as if they couldn't hear me and just hung up. Called sgain to someone else and they heard me clear as day.-They put you on hold at times and carry on a conversation for over 20 minutes with another employee. (Has happened a few times)-when you walk in depending who's working your often greeted with someone who just shoots you a dirty look as if your not welcome there.-the list honestly goes on.I love their subs their very filling as well as no lack of substance! That if you can get through to someone who will actually try and take your order! Seriously in the last 3-4yrs the service/customer handling has honestly gone down the toilet and if it wasn't for all the issues that I myself dealt with as well as hearing others say the same thing. I would probably would of given it 4 or 5 stars but there is no excuse for this at all as far as the customer service and ordering roulette. NONE! Either you want the business or you don't.
I usually get the Philly cheese lg sub , which is big enough for 2 meals and it tastes amazing .. but I recently had the italian sub and it was just as good .. the food here is fantastic
Always a great idea to go to Newberry Subs! Ham & cheese Cosmo hits it! Friendly hard working staff is all you can want in a Pennsylvania neighborhood!
