Went to the Cafe for the first time this week. We were staying in the area for a funeral. The food was excellent. The family owned restaurant was so welcoming and the staff was so friendly and kind to us all. Met Mom who makes many of the desserts, and also soon to be published Made our second visit today, and if ever back in the area this will be a must stop!!!!
A group of us girls go once a month for lunch and always try somewhere different, so this was my 1st time there.I had a soup and half salad special. Salad was good but the chicken was dry and overcooked. Along with 3 of the other meals ordered, we ended up with overcooked chicken on a cheesesteak, veggie burger and beef as well. I work nearby but am hesitant to try it again.
Exceptional service.Great food and the staff was amazing and work real hard.I never been treated so kind as I did here.I tell you it.s worth the time and money enjoying your meal there and they are on top of things and help you if need anything.I will say out of all the places I have eaten in Pennsylvania this one ranks right up there in the top 5. I am honored to make them number 1 and 5 stars.Best food and best staff and the owner should be very proud of his or her employees and they deserve their tips and there regular paychecks.I pray they get raises for great service and loyalty for their customers.Try them you will not be disappointed if you are they will do everything to make it right.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We were passing through on our way from Maine to Michigan and stayed at a hotel down the street. We ordered takeout from The Cafe and the entire experience was great. The girl who took my order on the phone was very pleasant and accommodating - one of the menu items we wanted was not available and she offered a replacement. We were also traveling with our 2 dogs - I requested 2 plain chicken breasts to feed to them, and they were exactly that. Not greasy or anything, and they were chopped up, which was perfect. The staff that I spoke to when I picked up the food were also very sweet. Excellent service, and the food was also very good.
Food was really good. Nice atmosphere. Went for an office party and everything went smoothly despite them being very busy. Thought my sandwich was a little small but was delicious. Would go back.
My husband and I have been coming to this place for years! We moved out of the area years ago but anytime we are visiting, we make it a point to stop here! We have lived in numerous large cities on the east coast and this is hands down my favorite cafe! Top notch food with an amazing staff and owner! Highly recommend ❤
Went for a party in the side room. The food was great. The service was great. And the layout was nice for a big gathering with lots of kids running around. They were very tolerant of the kids too. Very good experience
Delicious food! Looks smaller from outside but don't let that stop you. Indoor and outdoor seating. And the most amazing menu. I was blown away. Definitely will be back again.
BEST PENNE EVER!!! Ate here about a week ago… staff was very friendly and kind, food came out steaming hot within 20 minutes of ordering, the vodka sauce was delicious. 100% recommended!
