Made a last minute decision to eat here. We definitely did not regret it. Everything was delicious and the staff was very helpful.
Been visiting this location for years as a stopover on regular road trips. Everything here is reliably high quality - the staff are friendly, service is prompt, the food is delicious, and the bathrooms are clean. My only complaint is that they no longer have the devices that let you pay at the table so that if you pay by card, it's never out of your sight; I've never had an issue with my card here, but it's still a nice sense of security that I have at other restaurants and miss when it isn't there. Still, a great place to grab a meal!
Had the lemon drop and the cinnamon toast shots and they both were amazing! Anna was our waitress and she did an amazing job! Wings, ribs, chicken, Cole slaw, baked potato, baked beans, roasted corn was all amazing! The pork belly appetizer is a must have! We have never been disappointed when we come here! Anna our server was awesome! Very upbeat, helpful and pleasant as well!
Wilkes barre location. Worst food experience I have ever had. We were there for almost 2 hours. The food was cold. None of our orders were correct. We ordered a $20 meal and they charged us for $45 meal. We didn’t have time to discuss that as we had been telling them all of this for 20 minutes and we had somewhere to be which they also made us late for. There was mold in the bathroom. We will never return and we will make sure that we tell everyone we know the same. AWFUL!!!
Today is the first time and the last time. The experience was not very good. The five of us waited for about half an hour drinks, and also waited half an hour to have food，I specifically asked The waiter, the waiter said that because of the takeaway, but the three tables after were faster than us...I don't know if the back kitchen's serving time was deliberately vacating us? The beef tastes very dry, not very recommended, the broccoli on the side is good, and the drink is slightly sweet… pulled pork is dry too. I feel embarrassed because I brought my family to try the new restaurant, but everyone didn't have a good impression of this restaurant and agreed not to come again...
I don't even usually do this but this has to be the worst take out experience ever. I only ordered 2 appetizers to go. Was told 10 minutes. Waited 30 and they gave me someone else's order (thankfully I opened everything in the car). Take it back in and wait another 10 minutes for mine. Then open them in the car to see they made the order the opposite of how I asked ??♀️??♀️. I ordered loaded cheese fries no meat/bacon, extra sauce. Got no sauce and lots of meat ?. So I had to go back in again. At this point I was tired and just wanted to go home so I said I'll pick the meat out, just give me some sauce on the side please. I literally had to wait another 10 minutes for them to just put cold sauce in a cup.. It's like they were annoyed to have to keep correcting their mistakes. And also the restaurant only had like 3 tables so it wasn't like it was busy. This experience reminded me why I haven't been there in a while. End rant/
Stopped back in for a visit (used to work here). Was happy to see a familiar face! Jarret was absolutely amazing!! As someone who trained me so many many years ago he is so professional knows his menu and is amazing to me and my friends! It was my friends first time and they also where impressed by the service and food !! Everything was amazing as always !! Love you Jarret
Always a great experience stopping in here for a quick drink or dinner. Stopped in yesterday after work to get food at the bar. Jarrett the bartender was attentive, quick and extremely helpful. I don’t think my drink ever sat empty and he knows the menu inside and out. Best bartender on staff and will definitely be back again.
In Wilkes Barre most places close early anymore, but Smokey Bones stays open until 1AM which is great for late workers. Their food is consistently excellent. At this visit our bartender, Jarrett, checked on us often and made sure we have everything we needed.
The food is delicious and reasonable. There is a special Monday thru Friday--Wednesday is my favorite: two pulled pork dinners for the price of one! The staff is attentive and accommodating. Josh is our favorite waiter. Plenty of parking. Casual atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.
