One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. And the steak fries were nice and crispy, not soggy. Burgers are a bIt pricey but well worth it, especially with unlimited sides (choose between steak fries, kettle chips, steamed broccoli or a garden salad). There are a couple other unlimited sides that will cost an extra $1.99. Our waiter was Taylor and he was very attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend Red Robin.
Red Robin has always been consistent in their food. Consistent is putting it lightly. They have the "chain" thing down to a science. Which is, in my opinion, unnatural. Recipes do, and should, vary to some degree each time their made especially when made by thousands of chefs. How do you get the exact same result day after day in thousands of locations? Is this the freshest way to prepare food? I mean, the sheer volume of items on the menu doesn't exactly scream fresh. How much fresh food can one place keep on hand?This, I believe, is one reason chains are becoming less preferred to local establishments cooking with fresh local ingredients and smaller menus.With that being said, this particular RR was sticky. Every surface from the floors to the ceiling was sticky.
Looked like an amazing place to eat but we'll never know. We were seated. 15 minutes later no server had ever appeared so we sked someone bussing tables about service, she said she'd get someone. Another 7 minutes went by. We were about to leave and the manager arrived. (We hadn't asked for one). She offered no explanation for the delay but tried to comp appetizers. We said we didn't want free stuff, just service. She said it would be 15 to 20 minutes for food after our order went in and it would be a while before someone took our order. We gave up and left. Went to the restaurant next door instead. Very disappointed.
This review is concerning the evening manager. Last night, we found a hard bone piece in our appetizer of their new Smokehouse Brisket fries. The manager "thinks the bone piece was just a hard piece of meat" in the brisket. Unbelievably unprofessional. I'm grateful I didn't break a tooth on "the hard piece of meat". THE WAITER WAS AMAZING AND POLITE THE WHOLE TIME! Not once did the manager acknowledge the situation: sending the waiter to do his communicating for him. This manager is in need of training on how to be a competent professional/manager.
We ordered a lot from Red Robin and unfortunately last orders have been delivered with not full order. They don’t add all items to the delivery and are missing most order. Each time we call to fix the manager is not helpful at all and never willing to fix the issue. With each time we have to charge back our money. They really have to fix this issue.
Now Red Robin offers bottomless drinks as well as fries, that's good. But my burger came out with cheese, after I specifically asked for NO CHEESE!!!!!! I sincerely wish people in ALL restaurants would stop deciding everyone eats the same thing!!!!! I hate cheese & mayo. The food here is excellent when made to my taste.
Staff was pleasant, and apologetic. Quick to fix mistakes that happened during visit. Appetizer came out after meals. Burger had onion on it although I requested no onion, but as I said the manager and the server were amazing at making sure it was corrected quickly. Great price on our drafts...always filling great tasting food! Rating a 3 just because of the mistakes.
I don't think we've ever had a bad experience at this Red Robin. The food is always pretty good and comes out how we order it. I really enjoy the burgers. The wait staff is always friendly and for the most part attentive. The only thing I could say is that I wish they would bring out the bottomless sides a little more often.
our waitress was the best. very apologetic for the slow wait time being they were extremely busy and understaffed. all in all it was a great experience. everytime we are in town we come here to eat.
Unfortunately, we had a less than positive experience tonight but the staff made it beyond right. They made sure we left happy. We have been there many times and have always had a great experience. Tonight was an off night and the staff handled it exceptionally. Thank you! You definitely did NOT lose a customer. ?
