We’ve been here twice. The first time it took us 2 hours to get through our meal since it was so busy (Saturday night wait times to sit, waiting for service, and waiting for food). The food was so delicious we thought we would give it another try. Our second time we went on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and it was almost the same experience, unfortunately. The food really is delicious and they have fabulous outdoor seating. But, they def need more staff in the kitchen and waiters/waitresses. We won’t be back until the service gets better it’s just way too long of a wait to be served :(
It was a busy Friday and the kitchen was swamped with to-go orders for graduation parties so it took a bit longer than usual to get our appetizers and food - but is was well worth the wait. Our shrimp cerviche appetizer was fantastic and my Camarones Con Arroz meal had the best seasoned and grilled shrimp. Our waitress Lilly was so personable and she was happy to spend time answering our questions about the meals and drinks. As an added bonus, we got to eat outside in their huge and beautiful patio area.
We went there for dinner after graduation. The waiters accomodated our group of 15. The food was good. The place is nice and romantic outdoors. Will recommend this place to anyone who loves the outdoors for something like a candlelight dinner.
Love this place! The food is amazing. You can’t go wrong. We shared some pico and chips and I got a burrito while my cousin got a shrimp quesadilla. Don’t forget to get one of their jaritos! The service was good. The outside seating and patio in general is really nice. Perfect spot for a get together with friends, date night or family dinner.
My party dined at Margarita Azul on a Friday night around 6:30 p.m. Although there were booths inside the restaurant, it was closed off, leaving us no choice but to dine outside. There was seating available, but barely. There were covered tents/cabanas outside, but all of them were occupied, and it was recommended we call ahead to reserve one on a future visit. We were seated at a very large picnic table, which isn't very convenient if you want privacy. The hostess wanted to place us directly across from a family even though there was plenty of space elsewhere at the table. We asked to be seated at the other end so both parties can dine alone. While we ate our meal, other patrons turned down this seating option, most likely for the same reason. A young, friendly family was later placed across from us, but as soon as another table opened nearby, they asked to be moved. Clearly, this large community table is not a popular choice, and should be replaced with several smaller tables. The Queso Fundido with Carne Asada appetizer was served in a small skillet with what appeared to be homemade tortilla chips, but was very bland appetizer and tastless. The Ceasar Salad, on the other hand was very good. The chicken quesadilla with pineapple and peppers was delicious, but the sour cream side, like the Queso Fundido, lacked any flavor. The guacomole side was thin and not very robust. The chicken chimichanga was perfect, the tortilla fried just right, and stuffed with beans, rice, cheese, and, of course, chicken. It was well prepared and quite pleasing. The California burrito was also very good, with plenty of french fries in the middle. If you don't mind eating outdoors or potentially dining with strangers, Margarita Azul has some delicious dishes. Our server was extremely helpful and polite. If they can improve on the Queso Fundido, the restaurant can easily be five stars.
Today I had the most unpleasant moment with my family. I went to this place with my wife, sister and 3 year old daughter. we arrived at 6:00pm and received half of the food at 9:34pm. being 10:00 pm there was a plate missing and after asking they told me they didn't have chicken wings. We asked for the bills and they were charging us for the food we didn't receive and some extra potatoes. I told the manager that I can't pay for what they didn't serve me, and a Mexican men cook, sweaty and with very little education, approached me and told me that they had problems in the kitchen and that if I don't like the service that my family and I go to hell. I do not recommend this place as a family place. they care more about selling alcoholic beverages. If you're a drunk and armed, maybe they'll give you a good deal. you can go and check it out.
Horrible. Beans were like soup. Watered down and disgusting. Forget even trying to bite through the steak...if that is even what it was. Tortilla chips were thick and gross. So if you are crazy enough to waste your time coming here make sure to take your dog if you decide to go. I had a two inch bone in my chicken. Needless to say I will not be returning.
Very reasonably priced and amazing food absolutely love the shrimp and pineapple quesadilla
Always great food and cocktails, wait staff is vey friendly also
