Service is prompt and courteous. Menu selection is extensive and everything arrived in a timely manner, fresh and hot. The starting salad was a terrific introduction to our meals and the strawberries, grapes, and other fresh nuts and berries delighted both of us and offered a seasonal touch to our perfect meals.Outback was a treat from start to finish and we both agreed that they deserve two thumbs up in all categories. Simply a chain steakhouse. Food was fine. Service was just fair. We were there early before the crowd so we were seated fast. Ordered our dinners with salads and an appetizer. Appetizer was delivered quickly but then there was a long time before we got our entrees but no salads. Guess they forgot. Waiter never really apologized but only asked if we still wanted the salads. Well I am paying for them ?. Appetizer dish and dinner dishes were never removed from the table even when the bill was delivered. Guessing this was a one-time experience but wasn't what you would expect.
Never been here before but probably won't go elsewhere to eat a well cooked and flavorful piece of meat, the atmosphere was great and so was the service. Ordered a medium rare 12oz New York Strip Steak that melted in my mouth with rice pilaf and onions, also a well done Chop Steak with mushrooms/onions and a side of mashed potatoes which was also super tender, flavorful and juicy. Unfortunately I was too eager to eat and forgot to take some photos to share. Definitively going back!
We visited the Wilkes-Barre, PA location on 2-18-22. Everything was excellent,.our server Melissa was on point our food was perfect, everyone was pleased!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
Felt deliberately ignored. Sat down at the bar immediately after a couple sat at a high top in the bar area. A few min after us, a gentleman sat down one one side and a couple on another. All three groups of guests were greeted, asked what to drink and provided menus. Our counter was not wiped down as the manager asked the bartender to do so, we were not greeted and asked what we would like to drink or eat. Another server asked the bartender to wait on us and was also trying to help, but had her own tables to handle. I asked for water 4 times and menus twice. We ordered and watched as everyone around us received apps, salads, their meals. They finished up their meals while we had only received bread. I asked about our meal and finally received my salad and the app we ordered after over an hour. It was obvious our order had not been placed in the system when given. At this point, all the other guests had been waited on multiple times, asked how everything was, while we sat ignored. I am a very patient person and do my best to give the benefit of the doubt during these times, but we felt very deliberately ignored, so much so, that we just wanted to leave, but were hungry after a very long day. The manager came and talked to us, apologized, offered to comp dessert, but we just wanted to get our order and leave. He had our meals packed for us, discounted the bill some for our troubles, and we paid and left. We returned to our hotel and ate. The orders both came with a baked potato instead of the requested mashed, but in general were good. So, the food is good if you can get it, but feeling deliberately ignored was hurtful and demeaning. Will not return to this location.
We went and the place was packed. However, we were seated quite quickly and were waited on right away. Lots of busy wait staff and servers! Our food came out quickly and hot! Steak was cooked correctly and bigger than I expected. I'd go there again.
Went to dinner on Jan 15 for birthday was very disappointed. I ordered chop steak well done I sent it back it was pink in the middle. My husband ordered porterhouse that was not cooked enough. The cook put the same pieces of meat back on the grill lucky I like mine super well done because they ended up on the burnt side. I have been here before and I always thought it was greatest place around water was very good
I came to this Lorn Horn on my birthday since I was in the area. The service was great. Food was made perfectly, and we didn't send anything back. I should have taken pictures, but just know this. I personally ordered Wild West Shrimp for the table and the Crusted Parmesan Chicken for my entree. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food.
We were there after a powerlifting competition. Your manager helped up in advance to have seating for our group. Was more than 30 people. Your staff was so accommodating and treating us great. The food came quick and was yummy too. We will definitely be back after our next competition in that area.
