You'll notice how many reviews claim this is the best pizza you'll ever have anywhere. And how in person this place looks like a hole in the wall. But it hides one of Luzerne County's greatest treasures. They are not exaggerating. This genuinely lives up to the hype. They're almost always extremely busy, because all the locals know it's the best. So you're best bet is to call ahead for pickup. Sweet sauce with extra cheese.. Cannot go wrong.
I ordered today a large plain pie and when I got home it’s sweet sauce this is the 2nd time that this happened to me. I called to see if I could just pick up the correct pie. The guy on the phone told me he did not know what to tell me. That’s disrespectful. I’ve been coming here for years and as of today I will never be coming again. The two employees I spoke to did not know how to handle the situation at all. So here I am stuck with a nasty sweet sauce pie. Thanks Angelo’s for not handling this situation correctly and honesty ruining my night lol.
Really, really good pizza, been going to Angelo's since I was was a child going to pick up pizzas with my mom and dad. I'm 64 now and the pizza is still the same great pizza pie as when I was a child. It gets very busy so call ahead for your pizza, price has always been very fair. Take out would be suggested preference to all as you may have to wait for a table. Great staff also.
Angelo's makes the best pizza anywhere! Whenever we are in Pennsylvania, we always stop by for their thin crust pizza. They are always busy, so call ahead. We are patrons since we were small children and lived in the Wilkes-Barre area, now we are grandparents who have traveled the world, and it is still the best pizza ever!

Love Angelo’s! Best pizza ever! Every time I am even remotely near Wilkes Barre, I make a detour for some pie. Cash only but there is an ATM machine on premise. Awesome family run business.
There was this dude that I recognized with the giant ear holes & bandanna. I remember him actually being from my local lgbt community, i hope him & his husband are well. If you see him there please let him know you support his cause. Other than that the pizza is just ok
It's walking into a wonderful, well staffed pizza parlor. The mini pie is perfect for 1. Delicious almost what I call Italian- Polish pizza you can only get around NEPA.
