Full time Doordash driver here! I’ve never eaten here but this place is as sleazy as they come! I have picked up from this place countless times and every time it’s labeled under a different virtual brand.Essentially this place has 15+ virtual brands plastered on doordash to trick people and give them more business!
My boyfriend and I often come here for a quick bite. It is a very affordable diner, modest, but understaffed. So please bear with them if the service is slow or they seem a bit discombobulated. A waitress in her middle ages works there, and she's very friendly and gives a fun aunt vibe. Tipped her extra!The food is absolutely delicious, but what blows me away are their fries. It's super crunchy and soft on the inside. Generous amount as well. Definitely support this restaurant!
Says they open at 6:00 am but that is clearly a lie. If you can't open on time you need to shut it down or sell the diner to somebody who takes it more seriously. Some woman got out of her car and went in at like 6:20 but i don't even know if they opened then because I was so disgusted I didn't even bother at that point. Just go to DK instead.
The worst food/service and experience. Do not waste your time or money. All the tables that were there (including us) left with plates full because the food was so horrible. The food took over an hour to come out and when we got it, everything was cold. The eggs weren’t cooked and the sausage was still freezing in the center. They kept saying they were “busy” but there was never more than 5 tables full. Do yourself a favor and find another place to enjoy a meal because it will not be at this place!
See they just continue bread pudding they don't have smoothies they don't make iced coffees and the stop in there are super rude and this is today March 30th 2022. I literally come in there and get ice cream all the time I love it there but I don't know what's wrong with the skinny waitress in there during the day super rude doesn't know how to respect but anybody but herself and the owner supposedly works at the front and just ignores me super rude don't know how to run your own business poor judgment.
Food was awesome. I left my wallet there with all my credit cards, over 300 cash , my drivers license, ect. And one of the waitresses, Colleen,was kind enough to look me up on face book and try to get In Touch with Me to let me know she found it and she will hold on to it Untill I come grab it. I was so thankful for that she saved my life!!!
The food and selections are GREAT!!! I was very surprised for a diner. I would recommend it in a minute. Our waitress Nancy was a very lovely, friendly, attentive, efficient and a keeper.One personal note Nancy needs a raise. I don't know this lady but I say all this because she's being a host, waitress, cashier, server, clean up and i'm sure there's more. Lastly she was honest. We paid cash and included her tip and she came back thinking we gave her to much to our bill.Thank you, Nancy and the kitchen staff. You made it a lovely night out for myself and my husband.
My husband ordered the corned beef hash casserole. The poached eggs were overcooked. I ordered two eggs with home fries and pork roll and was charged A la carte for the protein which I NEVER heard of a diner doing that. The silverware felt grimy. We are originally from NJ which is a State known for their many diners. Having said that we have eaten in our fair share of diners over the years, and we can say with a good deal of confidence that this one fell short.
Friendly staff. Great menu. Good fast and delicious.
Food seems pretty good. What made our experience not as enjoyable was the manager present. A woman in her 60’s, she was very loud, vacuumed right near customers and appeared completely clueless as to how annoying and distracting she was. It almost felt like we were being punked. She was unaware and in her own world. Talking loudly across the room, it was the craziest thing we’ve seen in a while. Made us not want to go back She was the MANAGER!!
