We recently revisited this place after two years. It looks like the management and employees have changed, and the new employees are truly unfriendly - neither of the two seemed to be interested in being hospitable. No smiles or greetings, just a blank stare at the counter.After informing us that many of the items and ingredients (chicken, cheese, etc.) on the menu were not available, there was no attempt made to suggest substitutions. We were left to figure out things on our own.Food was Ok, but our bacon cheeseburger did not have any bacon. Two ingredients were missing from the speciality burgers. Terrible terrible service. We used to like this place. But with their current prices and sorry service, the Applebee's burger (next door to them) seems like a bigger and better choice.
Went to this location for dinner. It was 8:20pm and the doors were locked. Hours state they are open until 10pm. So ridiculous! We wasted our time to drive here and the 4 workers inside cleaning at 8pm on a Friday night. The only Wayback Burger in the area and their employees run it like this?! Not sure who owns this location but they need to be aware b/c this clearly happens often.
My family came into this location on a Sunday, there was ONE employee working. David did an amazing job of making our food, serving other customers, and doing literally everything as the only employee in the store. Management clearly has no clue what they are doing, but David saved the experience with his hard work and great attitude. Thanks David.
How do you guys not have cup carriers? You make DoorDashers make their own drinks, the only restaurant in Westchester to do that by the way, and then you make them transport them with no means of carrying them. You didn’t have them last week either. If you need four-cup carriers I work for a distributor and can get them for you
I've come here 3 times before 8 pm ( their posted closing time) and not be served. It's weird. Today i walked in at 730 and the guy is standing there saying that they are closed. What kind of fast casual restaurant closes 30 mins in advance.This place should lose their franchise licence. I will never go back to this location or any other Jake's.
They had one person working all by himself ... there were 4 people ahead of me and 3 behind me. I felt really bad for the young man but he did a great job!!!!!! He was a little overwhelmed but handled it very well!!!!!!! They really need to give this gentle man some help and a big raise..... I think his name was Slyvester .... thanks for great service
The restaurant hours online said they were open until 10pm. We came before 8:30pm on a Saturday, and they said they were closed. I looked for their hours on the exterior, but nothing was posted on window or doors. My husband went to get food next door at Qdoba instead while I waited in the car. I watched another couple go up to the door and were conversing loudly enough for me to hear about whether the place was still open or not. They went in (doors were not locked like they should be if closed) and at first I could see the girl cleaning the dining room tell them they were closed but after some more discussing, the couple ended up getting waited on and served. At 8:50pm my husband went back in to ask about the hours, and he was told right away that they were closed again. He asked about the other couple that got waited on and was told they were family. We were clearly lied to by the staff.
I don't normally do this but this was kind of ridiculous. I placed an order online, arrived early and 3 people were in the restaurant making food. I went back in my car and waited. About 15 minutes later I went back in and the other 2 people were gone. There was just 1 guy saying that due to unforeseen circumstances the store is now closed. When I asked about my order that was already placed and paid for he said call customer service. It doesn't really make any sense.
Classic big burgers prepared at the time of order. A large sized fry and onion ring side is enough for two. If you're a health nut, eat here on your cheat day. Thanks to the two polite gentlemen working, who made an exception to take our order and genuinely checked on the quality of our food later.
Placed an order online, showed up at my pickup time. They made me wait 10 minutes just to say something to me while they’re having their own conversation, 3 people, not one of them could have put a burger on in the 30 minutes since I placed my order.
