By far the best Mexican in West Chester. Amazing service, great value for the money and staff that feels like family (I know it sounds cliché but these people really are amazing). The food is excellent and consistent. Really a hidden gem. They also have a thoughtfully comprehensive set of vegan and vegetarian options while still offering some of the best meat in town. Cannot beat this place.
Our son is a student at WCU living in town for the summer. We stopped in for a visit and he suggested Taco Mar for dinner. Quite honestly among the best tacos we've ever eaten!! We all got either fish or shrimp tacos. Packed full of flavor and the breading on the seafood was light and not greasy at all! We are already planning to return upon our next trip out to West Chester next month! Thank you Taco Mar for becoming our instant go-to for Mexican food!
TACO MAR is the #1 spot in west chester for tacos, burritos, nachos and any other Mexican/SoCo style food in town! The quality of all the ingredients here easily stand out when you start enjoying their food. The owner and staff always make sure your experience here is a good one and genuinely care about their customers. I drive an hour to west chester just to eat here!
Omg can't get enough of Taco Mar!!!! We moved from WC and drive all the way from Philly just to come back here. The customer service is excellent and the food is always fresh !!! The only real SoCal style food in PA. Try the California Burrito!!!
I absolutely love this place! The food, service, atmosphere, and prices can’t be beat. Authentic Mexican food with specials like homemade mole and street tacos! During our visit, the owner checked up on us often and took great care of us! Everything was delicious! We will certainly be back

While visiting West Chester I has to look up my favorite food "Mexican" and TACO Mar was rated the highest so I gave it a try and WOW it was the best. I always say you can judge great Mexican Restaurant by their salsa. They make them all by hand and all 5 were amazing, it was hard to pick a favorite. I had the beef taquitos because they are hard to find, they were superb. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Taco Mar. It felt like home.
This restaurant attempts to capture the authentic elements of the cuisine of Baja California, such as there is one. The owner actually took his staff including cooks to Baja so they might experience the true flavours and environment. As I am a veteran traveller in that region, going back almost 40 years, he and I shared experiences and our love for the food the people and the unique Baja California landscape. It is a landscape of El Mar, the ocean, which is never far away even in the interior of the peninsula.

Yes!Yes! {thank you!}The most delicious tacos & burritos w/ beyond meat, tofu, beans & mushrooms!I love the tomatillo w/ avocado in my burrito.??
