We hired Southbound Barbecue for our son’s high school graduation party in our backyard. Brad was easy to work with, very clear in his communication and he and the Southbound team were pleasant and made our guests happy! Everyone loved the food truck in our backyard. The food was delicious and all of our guests raved over the food and the concept. This is not your ordinary barbecue. The sauces, the smoky flavor in the meats, the unique recipes for the side dishes showed that time, effort and love had been poured into the food. This saved me time and effort, but still gave my guests the quality meal I wanted. They even gave us all of the leftovers, so we received everything we paid for and have more meals to enjoy. It was so easy we are trying to figure out other excuses for having the truck return. Thanks to Brad and the guys for making our son’s party a hit!
Book Southbound BBQ for your next event! Brad is a real deal Texas BBQ guy so you won't be disappointed with the quality of his food. We heard rave reviews about Southbound BBQ from several attendees at the Phoenixville Food Truck Festival and booked him for our son's graduation party well in advance. Brad was responsive and communicated with us regularly leading up to the party. Brad and his team arrived on time with a truckload of BBQ, sides, and appetizers. We had nearly 100 guests and Brad and his assistant had no problem keeping the line moving. We were able to relax and enjoy our own party. Large portions of moist brisket, pulled pork, and chicken for everyone! His BLT appetizers were a big hit as well. Everyone loved the corn bread and sides. Brad even made two large plates for my wife and I and tracked us down so we didn't miss out on the BBQ! We would recommend Southbound BBQ for your next event without hesitation.
We needed pulled pork for a party and we received 15 lbs of it from Southbound Barbecue - it was AMAZING. All of our party guest raved about the pulled pork. Brad at Southbound Barbecue was super accommodating and helpful through out the entire process. We will definitely use them for all BBQ catering needs moving forward. I cannot recommend them enough.
We cannot say enough great things about Southbound BBQ. Brad and his team catered our 300 person wedding. The food was excellent and they were able to serve the amount of people without any issues! We knew we wanted to use a food truck for our wedding, but concerned about wait times. Brad put our minds at ease and assured us that everyone would be fed in a timely manner. He did not disappoint! We did a tasting a few weeks before the wedding to help us with our menu choices. The brisket with his homemade sauces and garlic/herb crusted chicken was a favorite! Brad was easily reachable at anytime leading up to the wedding and when the weather took a turn for the worse he made sure we had a serving tent ready to go so our guests wouldn’t stand in the rain while waiting for their meals. We would definitely recommend Southbound BBQ for any event large or small.
We had a truly wonderful experience with Brad at Southbound BBQ. AMAZING FOOD. I was a little hesitant to use them for our wedding, without having tried their food first. But with the numerous glowing reviews, and knowing we wanted BBQ, we decided to go for it, and I hope this review will help others make that decision too.Brad was quick to respond after I initially submitted the online form. We talked on the phone and he gave me tons of details about the food options, how the meal selections work, etc. We booked them pretty early on, about a year out from our wedding, and throughout the whole wedding planning process Brad was easy to get in touch with and to work out the details.Unfortunately it rained for most of the day on our wedding - but luckily Brad was able to provide a popup canopy for the food truck so our guests could take cover while getting their food. Everyone loved the food truck and said how fun it was for a wedding vs. the usual buffet.They have a pretty large and diverse menu to choose from, especially their wedding menu, the portions are big, price is reasonable, and everyone LOVED the food! We had beef brisket, baby back ribs, and garlic/herb chicken as our meats, along with a handful of sides. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend them for any event, and will definitely keep them in mind for future events of our own.
Best decision ever having the food truck at our baby shower! The guests all raved about the BBQ. The staff was early to set up and super friendly, leaving us with all of our leftovers wrapped up at the end. It was such a fun way to serve food and have minimal cleanup and set up for us! They even provided the utensils and paper plates. Super affordable and I would highly recommend for any event!!!
My husband and I booked Southbound BBQ for our wedding reception after finding them in a google search. The booking process was really easy and it was the best decision! We had brisket, pulled pork and smoked kielbasa along with potato salad, corn bread and the cheddar brocolli rice. Our guests loved the food, there was no prep or clean up, and the crew on the truck were so fun! Loved having them here to celebrate our day with us and will use them again in the future!
Brad and the Southbound BBQ team were absolutely fantastic to work with. We booked the food truck for my baby shower and it was a huge hit and made our lives so much easier (no food prep or clean up!). We had brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and pulled chicken options along with Mac n cheese, cornbread, potato salad, and coleslaw. All the guests raved about the food and some even want to book Brad and team for future events. Thank you for making my baby shower so special.
Brad was truly wonderful from consultation to serving the day of our party. He spent time with us to answer all our questions even up until the day before. He even helped us with venue information. The portion size was HUGE! Your guests will not go hungry. The food was OUTSTANDING! That brisket! You seriously could not go wrong by using Brad. All our guests kept commenting how good the food was and how wonderful the team was towards our guests. When you are having a large gathering at your home, the last thing you want to worry about is food and having the food truck was such a great option! They even gave us any leftovers! My husband says we need to have another celebration soon just so that they can come back. Thanks Brad!
