What a way to kill an evening and a restaurant! We looked forward to our dinner at Pietro's Prime. We have dined here before and always found impeccable service and great food. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation. They make a point of stating on their website that they allow only a 15 minute window to honor reservations. Upon entering, we gave the receptionist our name and verified our reservation. While she was looking at her computer to seat us, the manager, John, walked up and stated "You have to give me 10 - 15 minutes." Okay...we were 10 minutes early and we said we would sit at the bar until he could seat us. The barmaid was overwhelmed with the number of patrons she was trying to serve, and it took almost 10 minutes before we could even get a menu to select wines. Meanwhile, Manager John, was storming around the bar, criticizing the help because "they couldn't take the time to find where something was." He was surly, abrupt, and dropped the "F" bomb several times while bustling around the bar room. He obviously was not happy in his job. This, in a place where the wines average $15/glass and entrees average $35. He was not a pleasant person and certainly did not set the mood in which I wanted to share an upscale dinner with my wife, who said "we're not coming back here," because of his attitude and behavior. When I finally flagged him down, he said he could seat us now. The very pleasant hostess seated us. I assume the issue was a lack of help, because there were many more tables empty, than occupied in the dining room. Our waiter, Andrew, greeted us. He was very upscale, professional and welcoming. He exuded class as he informed us about today's specials. He was knowledgeable about the menu and the preparations and smoothly guided us through our ordering. The Chopped Calamari Salad and the Caesar Salad were both excellent. The Chopped Calamari salad could serve as an entree, it was that big. I ate half and boxed the other half to take home. The dinner rolls served with olive oil were hot and tasty. The wine selection by the glass was large enough to satisfy any palate and budget. My wife chose the Filet Mignon as her entree, with mushrooms and sauteed spinach. The sides were large enough for 3 people. I had the Cajun Delmonico with a baked potato. Both steaks were cooked perfectly to order (medium rare). We ended up taking home more than we ate. It was a delicious meal, cooked perfectly and served in a first class manner. It is a shame the first impression of the restaurant was diminished by the attitude of someone as negative as this manager.

We had a reservation for 4 at 7:15 on the night before my daughter's graduation from WCU. Found metered parking right out front and arrived around 7. We were seated in the rear dining room. Restaurant was very busy and I now understand why! The ambiance was loud but is understandable for the size and business of the restaurant. We had the calamari and caprese for appetizers. Both were very good! The calamari was very tender. For our steaks, we each had something different. I had 12 oz filet. Asked for it to be butterflied and cooked medium. It came out perfect. I just prefer a thinner cut of meat. Husband had the cowboy rib eye and he was pleased with the flavor and doneness. My daughter had the sliced filet. She loved the meat, but the garlic butter sauce on top got to be a bit much after a while (very garlicky, but good if you like that). My Dad had the NY strip and loved it! I forgot he also had french onion soup. For sides, which are served family style and generous portions, we chose the smashed potatoes, creamed spinach and brussel sprouts with maple and bacon. All were DELICIOUS! This was our first time at this restaurant and wish we had found it 4 years ago when my daughter first started at WCU! Will go back if I am in the area!

Would it really be so difficult to allow deliveries? Seriously... You allow pickup which doesn't even make sense cause at that point you might as well just allow nothing other then people to dine in... Other fine dining establishment like Morton's have accommodated to accepting practically every delivery service out their but the only steak house in the entire vicinity of West Chester won't do deliveries...It not only would be great for your customers but would help you expand your business significantly... It's just how often do people really want to drive into west Chester to dine in or pickup? You would have atleast double the amount of orders which I understand takes preparation but I'm sure it could be accommodated and would be well worth the returns investing in staff if needed...

We ordered one of the specials they had , Dry aged New York strip steak. This was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. It’s hard to explain. You have to experience it yourself. The flavor was unbelievable. Everything was awesome. The owner’s mother makes some of the deserts homemade… I ordered the ricotta cheese cake, again unbelievable. Gina was our waitress. Very professional and excellent service. The atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxing as well. This is a 5 star restaurant by far…. PS put money in the parking meters, they enforce it at night too.

As always, had a wonderful meal at Pietros Prime. Our waiter, Will was superb, engaging in the right amount and offering excellent recommendations. Will be back.

Went here for Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. My girlfriend and I ordered the 12oz filet mignon and the Chilean sea bass. The steak was melt in your mouth, cooked perfectly, and the sea bass had a perfect texture and tasted great, both phenomenal. Only knock would be if they could add a side to the dishes, besides that it was an excellent experience.

Exceeded my expectations!! So first off, let me start by saying I'm vegan (which I know sounds odd going to a steakhouse), but they were very accommodating. I got the Prime Salad, but swapped the tenderloin for extra sautéed veggies and got the blood orange dressing. It was so dang good!! I also got a side of steak fries that were MASSIVE. The portion was family style, but wow I wasn't expecting that much. The asparagus was cooked perfectly as well.\\n\\nThey made my espresso martini without dairy and it was perfection. I also got the key lime martini without whipped cream, it was so tasty! It was my boyfriend's brothers birthday -- they gave him a complimentary dessert, everyone loved their meal.\\n\\nOur waitress Gena... she was AMAZING. This woman needs a raise! She was SO sweet, extremely knowledgeable of the menu/drinks etc. She made the experience even better than it already was!! She just had such a happy glow to her. Even if you're vegan/vegetarian -- don't knock this place out!

Had New Years Eve dinner here. Not our first time to the restaurant. Drinks were delicious. Service from our server, Will, was excellent. He was very personable and funny. He provided lots of suggestions for our party of 6. Food is always delicious here. I had the scallops which were prepared perfectly. 3 of our party had the lobster, which was EXCELLENT. We were not rushed at all. Highly recommend.

This place has lots of awards and they like tho flaunt them. Unfortunately the bar area is a racket. The restaurant side looked great but my party of 3 just wanted a drink.\\n\\nIf you’re looking for a drink and appetizers, do not go here.\\n\\nWe patiently waited for 23 minutes and when a party of three at the bar got up, a lady who had two tabletops just claimed two of the seats even though her party clearly didn’t need them. The hostess watched it happen after we were standing right next to her, again, for 23 minutes.\\n\\nI’m sure the food is great but the bar area needs some operational help. 2-stars because I didn’t actually get to try the food or drinks.

Beautiful place and great martini bar
