Meeting the owner made the experience a great one, Joanne was a lovely host and this is a beautiful place to eat and drink at! HAVE PATIENCE WITH THE STAFF! The drinks are amazing!!!

Food is just ok. Doesn't stand out amongst the Mexican I've had but it was decent. The menu has less to offer than a lot of other places I've been to, but Mas Mexicali gets points for atmosphere, with plenty of seating and a rooftop bar which is pretty cool. It's definitely more of a college hangout spot than a place to go for good food, but that being said, the food was what I came to expect: didn't stand out but wasn't bad either. A fun place to hang out with friends, though! The love music in the rooftop was pretty cool
Now a days everyone is searching for more help in the service industry and we understand. This place handled slower service with a bang! Quality was TOP NOTCH!! Food was Great and the interactions with everyone was positive and welcoming. Canât wait to go back!
First time trying this place and I am very disappointed. The Guacamole was super expensive and not worth the hype, chipotle’s is better and I do not like Chipotle food sucks! Worst imitation Mexican food, Taco Bell is better, that’s how bad it is. The only good thing here is the view of the roof. I say eat somewhere else and come here for drinks and hang out.
Great food, excellent margaritas, and wonderful service by Ryan on the beautiful rooftop deck. Chairs could have been more comfortable but overall a really nice place to get together in the summer months! We will be back!

Very fun, festive atmosphere! The Manager was extremely friendly and accommodating even on a VERY busy Cinco de Mayo evening. She even made a special effort to stop by our table to be sure we were enjoying everything! A special shout-out to server, Matthew, as well. I truly believe he was the most attentive server I have ever had! We totally enjoyed our evening and we will DEFINITELY be dining there again!
My husband and I came here for a date night recently, and I just did not have a good experience. First of all, the portion sizes were terrible. For what I am paying, the sizes are unacceptable. To start, the chips that came with my guacamole were little to none. The basket was under filled, considering the amount of guacamole I had received. Another thing, I felt rushed by the fact that my server was constantly coming to my table to take away my finished dishes. In addition, there was a larger set blonde woman, who I presume to be a manager, talking down on the servers, that I could overhear. I do not wish to patronize a restaurant that doesn’t treat their workers with respect and dignity. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I will not be returning.
