I cannot recommend John Serock enough! My husband and I got married on June 26, 2022 at The Farm at Eagles Ridge, and I can see why they recommend John Serock! Food was incredible and all of guests thought so too! We had guests come up to us at the wedding and say how good the food was! Everything was so fresh, cooked on sight, and tasted so good! The menu has so many amazing things to choose from! It was hard to make a decision! The staff was absoultly amazing! We worked with Kristy and she was so nice and helpful during the whole process! She made planning so easy for us! The day of the wedding, the staff worked so hard and the service was great!! They made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed and I loved that because a lot of the time you don't eat on your wedding day!! They even had drinks ready for us after the ceremony!! Throughout the whole night they would come up to us and ask if we needed anything!! We are so thankful for John Serock and we were so happy to have them there with us on our special day! Thank you so much John Serock!!
John Serock's team was outstanding. I worked with Kristy from the beginning, and she was so great and responsive. They have SO much to choose from as far as food, and cater to all dietary restrictions. Their menu was almost too extensive, to the point where it was so hard to choose our wedding menu because of how many great options there were! After having our tasting, we chose the filet and chicken, as well as a quinoa and vegetable option for our vegetarians/vegans. All 3 were seriously a hit! The guests still rave about the food. We had left overs due to some COVID cancellations, l and all the extra food was boxed up at the end of the wedding and sent home with us. We enjoyed all the extras for the next 2 days before out honeymoon, and gave the rest to our family. The food came out in such a timely manner, and the transitions were seamless. We had our own personal server that came to our sweetheart table and really made sure my husband and I were taken care of the entire night, whether it was food, drinks or water. We chose a dessert bar, instead of cake, and although I did not get to taste of the desserts, the guests all loved the various options to choose from. Highly, highly recommend Serock. It was one of our best vendor decisions!
Amazing! I recently got married and from the very early stages the crew at John Serock made all of the pre-planning and execution the day of so easy and stress free. The food and the service was fantastic! Would definitely hire them again!
My husband and I got married at The Barn at Silverstone on May 13 and had Serock Catering as the venue’s exclusive caterer. First and foremost, the food was absolutely phenomenal. When we went for our tasting, we both agreed that what we had was certainly not “wedding food”. Kristy, our day-of coordinator and contact for the tasting, was able to accommodate my picky vegetarian husband and also make sure that I had plenty of delicious meat options to choose from. Although side note to all the meat eaters out there, the butternut squash lasagna is so, so good. We had meat eaters pick it, and they were not disappointed. After attending weddings where the vegetarian option is pretty much an afterthought, my husband was VERY happy to have something he was excited to eat. We had quite a few guests with varying dietary restrictions and Serock was able to accommodate everything - including adding two vegan meals!We heard from so many people during the wedding and after how great the food was. Obviously I’m biased, but it was truly the best wedding meal - and possibly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the dessert. We selected the warm bread pudding and ice cream bar. If you’re getting married, this is the dessert to choose. It was literally the best thing ever! We added cookies and brownies too and it was so much fun for our guests.I was so glad The Barn at Siverstone took out all the guesswork and set us up with such a wonderful and professional caterer.
I can not say enough good about Jon, Rachel and the entire staff at John Serock. My daughter just got married on our farm, and we hired John Serock Catering for that event. They were amazing!! I didn't realize all the benefits of hiring a full service caterer, but now I'm spoiled and can't imagine doing it any other way. Rachel was so helpful throughout the entire process, then the staff blew us away the day of. They were waiting for us after the ceremony, with trays of drinks and hors d'oeuvres for the entire bridal party so we didn't miss-out on the cocktail hour food while doing pictures. One server was assigned to my daughter and her husband and she served them seamlessly all day long. The food was delicious, the service....top notch!! Totally professional and I would hire them again without hesitation.
Wonderful experience! We had them cater our wedding at the Barn at Silverstone and it was amazing! Kristy was our coordinator and she and her staff were fantastic! She answered all my questions, help me make changes and even gave me a tipping chart for ALL types of vendors. The food was absolutely perfect. We had a ton of compliments from our guests and a lot of them even said it was the best wedding food they ever had! You definitely get a lot for your money here as well. It is all inclusive and no hidden fees or up charges for things like linens or wait staff. We, as the bride and groom even had attendants to bring us food and drinks through the day, photo hour, and even the reception. I NEVER needed anything. Caitlin (Sorry if this is the wrong spelling) was our server and was an MVP! THANK YOU ALL FOR SUCH A GREAT JOB AND MAGICAL EVENING! It couldn't have been more perfect.
As a hospitality professional and former Chef, we wanted only the best food & service for our daughter’s wedding of 185 guests and John Serock Catering certainly delivered. From initial consultation to menu / agenda development to the day of, it was 100% first-class! Great attentive service, tasty food that was cooked to perfection, plenty of bartenders to keep the drinks flowing, Serock & his team exceeded our family and friends' expectations! Special requests for allergies and all personal details were handled seamlessly and all communications throughout the process were timely and concise. If we could give MORE than FIVE STARS, we would! John Serock…top notch all the way….
What can I say about Serock Catering… just do it! When my husband proposed last December, one of my colleagues immediately recommended John Serock. He catered her wedding a few months prior and she had nothing but great things to say. When I found out Serock was the exclusive caterer for Loch Aerie Mansion (my dreamvenue), I felt like the stars were aligning.If I could give John and his team more than 5 stars, I would. I know… when I hear people say that I often wonder if they’re exaggerating. Let me tell you, this is NOT an exaggeration. John, Kiley and the entire Serock team were AMAZING. There was not a detail missed!Everyone raved about their meals. We are still talking about how incredible the food was. They also packed up the leftovers, so we got to enjoy them afterwards. My husband and I didn’t get a chance to try all the appetizers or cannoli bar, so we were pretty psyched to try everything the next day. It was such a nice treat! I also have to say the way everything was presented, from start to end, was perfect.I could go on and on about the food, but I need to mention the people behind the food as well. John was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to talk to, extremely responsive to emails, enthusiastic and provided a sense of calm throughout the entire planning process. Kiley, our day of coordinator, was so sweet and super helpful, not just the day of the wedding, but in the weeks leading up to it as well. She did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly and went as planned. All the servers and bartenders were also top notch.Thank you John, Kiley and the entire Serock team for a fabulous day. We didn’t worry about a thing because you guys had it covered. When I was researching which caterer to use for our wedding, I was very thorough as the food for such an event is one of the highest priorities. I looked at over a dozen providers, and was introduced to Serock catering during a venue tour in which they offered some samples of their appetizers and desserts. I was blown away at how delicious and unique the food was, so I added them to the research list. When I went to read their reviews, I was also blown away that somehow, across Google, WeddingWire, and TheKnot, they had over 500 total reviews with an AVERAGE rating of 5 stars. I thought "No way that can be true, not with how people are on the internet." so I actually sat myself down and read ALL OF THEM - looking for the fakes. There was a trace number of sub-3 stars and most of those simply said "It was okay." - which is still not bad. The 4 and 5 stars, however, were almost all multi-page raves about how good they are. Hundreds of them. So I thought to myself "Okay, seems like they've earned it - I'm going to trust what I'm reading on the internet (even though I usually don't)."From the initial planning stages, through the crisis of COVID which admittedly wreaked havoc on the food service industry, they were ultra responsive, high-value, and high-quality - at and exceeding expectations. If there was a way to give them 6 or 7 out of 5 stars, to more accurately reflect how amazing a business these guys are, I'd do that. After the event, my family and friends were also telling my wife and I how fantastic the food was. To those handful of people out there among the 500+ reviews that did not think these guys deserved 5 stars, you must have encountered an extremely fluke day/person to work with because Rachel Werley, John Serock himself, and their entire team delivered at-and-above our expectations the entire time. Truly a superb group to work with and a positive experience I'll be raving about until I'm an old grandpa telling the story to my grandchildren.
We could not recommend John Serock and his team enough! My husband and I were married at Loch Aerie Mansion on September 5, 2021. John served as both the head caterer and event coordinator. After multiple years of planning and rescheduling due to COVID, we were finally able to have our dream wedding. John and his team made the day run effortlessly. We were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony and it rained at the last minute. We decided to move the ceremony indoors and the transition to an indoor ceremony was seamless! John made the planning process fun and personalized. My husband and I come from multicultural backgrounds and the food at our wedding was phenomenal (traditional American and Indian stations). John personally made sure at our reception that my husband and I were able to try all of the food and we were never hungry! All of our guests raved about the food, service, attention to detail, and caring nature of the entire team. We will continue to use John Serock for future events and highly recommend his team!
