This is the gelato shop I recommend to all of my friends and family. This place is the best! As a vegan ? who also cannot eat gluten, I am always amazed to see that D’Ascenzo’s has at least 1-3 flavors for me! Thank you for including those of us with food sensitivities!Vegan options are absolutely amazing here - so creamy, just like their dairy options. My only criticism is that I wish they posted their updated flavors daily online. And I wish they had gluten-free labels next to flavor names so I don’t have to ask every time ?. Coming here is always such a treat! My favorite flavor so far is the vegan peanut butter ?!
Favorite ice cream in town. Always recommend it to visitors from out of town. Especially love the Belgian Butter Cookie, Peanut Butter and Strawberry - and Strawberry is usually a boring flavor, but not here. Bonus, the owners are super friendly.

Delicious gelato!! They have great tasting berry flavors! I had a cone and they piled on the gelato so high, I love it! Nice & generous staff. :)The place does not have an indoor sit-down area. Customers order at the window and sit in the outdoor seating area.

Best Gelato in the area! They have a great outside space in the summer to enjoy their fabulous treats! When we are in town, it is wonderful to take a walk around the area and end the evening at D'Ascenzo'! Never disappoints
A lovely little spot for yummy gelato.We went around 8pm and there was still plenty of a crowd.They have a few seats right in front of the store and in a small alley next to the building.It's a tight spot but the ambience was well worth it, with a European café feel, music playing and flowery decor. It being my first visit was all the more magical in the moonlight.They usually have a few vegan options which you'll either see prefixed with the word "vegan" on the menu or you can ask them.Cost for 3 small cups is 20$. We tried chocolate and vanilla (not vegan when I tried them), which were both pretty good!I'm excited to head back and try the other flavors.
Sometimes we go here daily. It's amazing gelato and always made there. They often create new flavors, which keeps going back exciting!The owners tend to favor executing new flavors in a way that makes them very strong, which is sometimes too much for my palate, but the flavors themselves are great choices.
My husband always comments, “this feels like Europe” when we walk by.The vegan chocolate Oreo & the vegan mint chocolate chip are my favorites. So rich & creamy ? A small cup is totally satisfying.✨ The sweet aroma fills the street ✨
