Excellent food and you don’t even need BBQ sauce. Smoke just right.
Ribs was great could have been hotter. I felt the beans wasn't cooked all the way. Hubby loved them. Mac and cheese was great not hot enough for me now that root beef sandwich was slamming. They guy who owns the place. Was real nice and I loved the fact that he talked with us about what was on the menu. I will be heading back to this place on my next trip to Ohio.
Best BBQ I ever tasted. Owner asked if it was my first time there, which it was. He was very friendly and took time to explain things about how he prepares and makes the different types of meats and sides. Other people working there were friendly and polite also.
On our way to Indy 500. Picked this place off of my phone. Stopped in 10mins before closing. Bruno did us a solid. Hooked us up will some great food. Everything we got was delicious. Keep smoken Bruno!!
Being from “Down South” I am Happy to say with the 1st bite….IT’S REAL!!! Down south food ? travelled an hour just to try it…was so happy we did❤️ Our meal was $37 and well worth it! Food in the pic fed both my husband and I, with left overs. Excellent Food!
Outstanding. It was worth the hour and a half drive. Brisket was good enough to get a to go order. Service was also outstanding. It makes you feel at home. Friendly informative, the cook even came out front to chat with me. A little amazing secret
Went for lunch and got the brisket and pulled pork...with additional sauces. Delicious! Sides: mac n' cheese, slaw, potato salad and baked beans also all delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price is appropriate.
The BRISKET is very very good, decently cooked but the flavor is top of the line and that is coming from ppl that grew up in a bbq or die area. However the pulled pork was not at all enjoyable and we just threw it away, really dried out and the only flavor was a slight sweetness in the background. That being said we will be back, just not going to ever order the pulled pork again.
Today, my colleagues had the pleasure of experiencing the amazing food at Southern Yanks. Bruno was top notch in customer service and made us feel at home. If you haven't visited here, you are missing out! Kudos
Visiting form out of town and found this gem of a BBQ joint. I had the brisket, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Potato Salad and tried the pork rinds. All were delicious, far better than what I expected. This has to be the best BBQ in the Pittsburgh area. Also, the Sweet Caroline sauce is fantastic! I know where I’ll be eating next time I’m close. The staff were super friendly also.
