I've lived in the area for two years, worked in the area for 7. I'm upset I have not eaten here until today. After looking through the reviews I decided to give it a try (and my wife HAD to have dumplings). Everything we ordered was very good! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, their crab Rangoon actually had filling! My wife loved her dumplings and the Mongolian beef was probably the best I've ever had. It's nice when you come across a place that actually takes pride in what they do. To top it all off, they are very welcoming and friendly people. I will definitely be returning!!! Very soon. That Mongolian beef is already calling me and I just finished eating it.
Great family owned place where they make you feel like a friend every time you walk in. The food is always hot and tastes amazing. Right down to my request for well cooked broccoli in my order … they knock it out if the park every time. I will forever be a fan of How Lee and support them !
We are from WV and we came up to pa for a doctor apt. So we decided to get Chinese food for dinner. I have never been treated so nicely and the food was so good. The best Chinese restaurant I've ever been too. The Chinese we go to back home are very short and very rude in person as well as on the phone but how Lee was a great experience. Thank you to all the employees for being so nice and the great food.
Two orders one on line one direct phone call two weeks in row . Both where not recorded at restaurant. Blamed it on same restaurant name in Pittsburgh. Showed them recent call on I phone said never received. BS food ok but at least MCDonalds gets orders right!!

Amazing service and really great food! We aren’t from Washington but stopped by while in town this evening. It was clear by the number of people picking up their online orders that How Lee is a popular restaurant, and it did not disappoint! All of our meals were of great quality and everything tasted fresh and homemade. Highly recommend!
How Lee is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Washington! I work at the hospital so usually when I place an order it’s with a large group. They always get our order right and it is fresh and ready on time when I go to pick it up. The staff at the restaurant are always so nice when I come to pick it up
Have been going to How Lee since they opened. And even though I ate pretty much order the same thing which is chicken lo mein and an egg roll, there are other choices are amazing as well. It is also incredible to see the owner working all the time to ensure that everything is great when you get your order. Not very common to say but this restaurant really does care for what you want
Ordered through Doordash. $9.00 for delivery is way too much. Food was terrible. Soup had no flavor. Hubby's chicken was tough. Mine was just boiled chicken and cabbage. No taste. Was not chow mein. And fried rice tasted like old oil. Never ate there before, and never will again. Expected more. Apparently many do not know good cuisine. Went in trash.
If you are craving Chinese food in Washington Pa, How Lee is the only place in town unfortunately. I have eaten here 5 times. Each time I hope it gets better but it doesn’t. The restaurant is super cluttered with their personal items, overflow of their food and drink stock, and just dirty!
