I've eaten at hog father's many of times but this experience was bad for spending 90 dollars you would assume you would get all you're food and not have to go back after getting home to pick up what they forgot the pork had a sour smell and taste they told me it was because of the vinegar ate half a sandwich and couldn't tolerate anymore gave the rest to my dog hope she doesn't get sick
This was the first time that I ate at Hog Fathers. We purchased take out for a few people, sampling a variety of food.First off, I really liked the ribs. We tried both the St. Louis and Baby back ribs, and both types were cooked well and had a lot of meat on them, much more meatier than at chain restaurants. I could have used some additional sauce though, and would ask for some next time.I personally had a ribs and fried chicken combo and was very impressed with the fried boneless chicken that came with the dinner. It was a bit salty, but not too much for me. The coleslaw was a bit bland for my taste, but it was good. I was disappointed with the French fries that came with the combo. They were packed in foil with the ribs and chicken, and were soggy when I went to eat them. My son had a side of fries that were packaged separately and they weren't soggy, but still not my type. I like shoestring type french fries and these were way too thick for my liking.My sister had the salmon and while it was good, she found a few bones in it, which is not a good thing.Overall, I enjoyed the food and would order here again, stopping at McDonald's on the way home for some fries.
DELICIOUS! Our food was outstanding and our waitress was super nice! We put in a day of shopping at the outlets, and were starving! So glad we went with a local place!
We have always been patrons to hog fathers here and there however, I HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend for catering services. Everything from pick up and set up was so easy and painless. Everything was included down to plates, napkins, and silverware. We are still getting compliments over the food! Brisket was absolutely to die for! Mac and Cheese is a personal favorite of our family and was also great... I couldn't be happier with my choice of catering for my son's 1st birthday! Thank you guy's so much! Outstanding job!

Love the place!! When I ran at Washington County Ambulance and Chair it was our Go to place!! So anytime I get down there I stop and get a pulled pork sandwich with Carolina sauce!!! Always great food
Food was EXCELLENT! Our waiter was even better! First time trying it and we weren't disappointed! Definitely try the ribs! We sampled most of the sides and they were all awesome!
Words cannot describe!! This is by far the best BBQ I have had in a while. Their sides are fabulous too. I had the brisket and it was melt in your mouth perfect. The cole slaw was creamy and the green beans delicious with onion and bacon. The corn bread was moist.
The staff was very friendly. The food was totally serviceable. Drive thru pick up was very busy.It was not what we were expecting with a BBQ restaurant. More in line with a Diner/Grille style. They were out of a lot of items which was disappointing, but understandable during these times. The "Southern Fried Chicken Dinner" consisted of 3 chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, cornbread and slaw. It was tasty, but we were hoping for a leg, thigh or other cut... Originally, we were going to dine in to take a break from traveling. It was very noisy(tv) and cold/drafty inside for a December night so we decided to get our food to go and eat in our vehicle as we had an infant with us and we're eager to get back on the road. No changing table in either restroom.
