Awesome vegan food and desserts! The family is so kind and friendly which makes the dining experience better. I've been eating here for the past several years, and never been let down. I'm so glad to have an all vegan restaurant in Washington County. They are legit the one and only in the whole county! I've taken many non-vegan eaters here and they can't believe how flavorful and unique the plant based food is. This is a great place to show people that plant based food is not just salads and tofu. Thank you so much for feeding us!!
First of all, there was a great variety of coffee. Even they have a big variety of decaf coffee. So my cup of coffee was amazing. We have a good experience with food too. The Avocado salad was very good, the pizza was very good. My jackfruit burger was amazing. We had also dessert was very tasty. So, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. ❤️❤️❤️??
I have been going to Fortuitea once a year for several years. I have been to probably quite literally hundreds of vegan restaurants, and many in the Pittsburgh/Western PA area, and NOTHING competes with Fortuitea. Over the years it has always been the same wonderful experience! It is where we choose to go for birthdays and special occasions because we love it THAT MUCH! The food is absolutely crafted with love and tastes like your grandma made it. Many of my non-vegan friends and family love it— it is not the stereotypical overly healthy or flavorless vegan food! It is dynamic and delicious and REAL! I love the service and how kind and personable the owners are. My favorite menu items are:The buffalo chickpea Mac n cheese: after I tried this dish, I swore to get it every time and I have not gone back on that promise. It is absolutely amazing. I would sell my soul for the recipe. The meat loaf: it’s just exactly what you want from a meat loaf. In every way.The ice cream: so creamy and flavorful and does not make you feel heavy or gross after eating it!This doesn’t even cover the wide selection of teas, which are in themselves amazing and bursting with flavor.I love this place so much!!
One of the longest established vegan restaurants in the Pittsburgh area and their knowledge of how to turn plants into anything shows! The baked goods are amazing…I highly recommend anything that remotely resembles a cinnamon roll. They have a variety of options, including one that had an Oreo chocolate topping. The dough was so fluffy and perfectly baked. They also have a variety of deep dish pizzas, we tried the Buffalo cauliflower which was excellent. If you like your pizza less filled with stuff and more crunchy, be sure to ask for suggestions. They have many menu items not on display in their cases. We also tried the brownie and the raspberry bar, both excellent. The brownies are the really rich and gooey kind, they are so big you could probably share one four ways and nobody would be disappointed. They also make their own ice cream at the cafe, the owner’s personal favorite is cake batter. They even make custom order ice cream cakes (any cake for that matter). All this and a most unique coffee and tea bar, allowing diners to choose from a wide variety of flavors and types of teas and coffees, ground or steeped to order. Glad to have found this gem!
Came here on a Friday afternoon and my husband and I were very happy with our experience. They offer an extensive menu, all vegan with plenty of gluten free options as well--both very hard to find around the Washington area! He got the Buffalo Falafel pita, I got the Jackfruit Brisket panini. We went back and forth tasting eachothers, because both were so good!Be advised, the dine in area is quite small. You may have to wait to grab a seat, but it's definitely worth it.They also offer a great selection of tea, and make lattes as well!I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.
Great homemade gluten free and dairy free options for myself and my son. They also have plenty of regular gluten filled options for my husband and my daughter.
Really amazing. Their pizza was incredible; without exaggeration the best vegan pizza I've had in my life. And the staff is so kind and friendly. Oh and the coffee was sublime as well.
Fantastic vegan food and a wonderful family owned business. The staff is so friendly and inviting. The stuffed crust cheese pizza was phenomenal and so was the bbq jackfruit panini, but honestly everything is good. The coffee is fantastic too. Great menu selection with variety and something for everyone.
Lovely spot to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee whether you are vegan or not. Enjoy a delightful light meal where they are awesome at accommodating for special diets, and super picky eaters. Convenient to the interstate!
Okay, this was my second time at this quaint, a little bit off the beaten road cafe. My first time I tried some of their different cupcakes and a dairy-free mint chocolate chip shake. The cupcakes were great and I couldn't believe how good the shake was considering it was dairy-free. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best I ever had. This time, at Max's suggestion--Max is the super kind, super patient young lady that does everything there it seems--I tried the grilled asparagus sandwich. Simple, but Dee-licious!My feedback along with every other glowingly positive feedback should be reason enough for you to drive out of your way if you have to and check this cafe out. I know I'll be back. Thank you, Max, and thank the rest of the staff for me. See you soon!
