I was embarrassed for the waitresses. This was the second time we have tried the dog house diner. The first time the kitchen staff was yelling obscenities at the wait staff and we waited an hour and a half for breakfast. We were the last people served that day when we were far from the last people in the door. This time we walked in and the waitress told us that the kitchen was behind and it would be about 45 min. I was not going to a repeat my mistakes. This place is chaos. I don't know why anyone would work here.
Went there for breakfest. Ordered a standard breakfast 2 eggs, toast and bacon. The food was okay. The staff is forgetful. I would say the most interesting thing was other customers. One customer asked me if the world was made of 1s and zeros. Another customer was blasting music on their cell phone. I would say the diner is located in a rough part of town which could explain the occurances.

Its not bad there unless you get the waitress from hell. She is the worst ever. She is rude and always has a comment saying she hates waiting on me. I told her i dont want her waiting on me anymore. If your lucky you will get the best waitress in the world. At least you will get a refill on your coffee and she will come back and check on you. Just ask for Tracey for good service.
"Waitress" in a camo shirt today was very distracted with conversations with coworkers and friends sitting at the counter. Every other word out of her mouth was an expletive. She also seemed impaired as if on some kind of mind-altering substance.Never asked if we needed anything when she brought us our meal. Never checked on us during our meal. She never even brought a check to the table. I had to walk up to the counter where all she was focusing on was a salad she was planning on eating.She stuck her hand out for my bank card without even stating the price of our bill. She didn't even say thank you or have a nice day. She didn't even look at me.I can't say I am surprised. I have heard so many awful things about some of the employees who work here.
I know it's a pandemic and labor shortage but the service was not good.It's just too much for two people to handle. Close off some tables so that you can handle serving the tables you have. Can't get refills or anything for that matter. We saw our server twice. She was nice and said to a table by us she had been there for years. She was nice but neither could handle the tables they had. They made it through but like myself imagine how many people won't come back because of less than ok service. I know im not going to.
Great diner, and they are open early in the morning! I finished off my order of fried mush and egg over medium with wheat toast. Everything was delicious, and the lunch specials make me want to come back for more!
Everything was just okay. There are many other places in the area that provide a better meal, value, and experience. One waitress was loudly complaining to another about her prior customers. I can't think of a reason to go back - would not recommend.
Excellent food..and the owner Sam and Lexi were personable and the atmosphere is family oriented.
Absolutely best breakfast ever! Sam and Lexi are awesome! Hometown feel with homemade cooking from the heart!
