I absolutely love Motherland! I’m my opinion it’s the best Liberian African restaurant in Upper Darby. They sell out fast so you better make sure to place your order ASAP! The food is always fresh when I order & it’s little to no wait time. Highly recommended! My favorites are the red oil potatoes greens & beans toborgee!
I waited over an hour for my food. I kept checking the app and the only thing I noticed was that the driver was waiting at the store for the food to be finished. Only for the restaurant to call and tell me that they didn’t have the food I ordered. I should’ve received a call as soon as the order came in. I was also told they couldn’t cancel my order. I’ve never heard of this before. Worst experience.
Ok it’s upsetting how these folks don’t regard the people they are in business for (customers).I called and spoke to a lady who sounded upset about the fact that they had pepper soup and a whole lot of orders listed on Uber rats but yet still didn’t actually have them in stock. Wasted 2 hrs only for them to call me to offer something totally different with the excuse that the soup is still being made and will take an hr. I opted in for the wait only to get notified that order cancelled.I called the store to ask what happened and the response from the lady was, I should have accepted their other product offer. She hanged up with a loud chuckle. I’m not ordering here again folks!

OMG where have u been motherland cuisine? This restaurant is the BEST in PA. There jollof rice is the BEST Ever.
