Wings were very undone. Coleslaw tasted like straight sour cream. Small bones impacted my teeth and made me bleed. Very disappointed and I now will have to take a trip to the dentist tomorrow.
Their pulled port sandwich could/should compete in the Texas World BBQ. I had it it’s the tangy spicy vinegar sauce (she called it vinegar mustard but I didn’t taste too much mustard, which is a good thing to me), and some pickles cause I’m trashy like that, and I swear it was just like something I could get back home in Houston. HIGHLY recommend.Staff were friendly towny local, no nonsense types, all wished me a good evening so politely. Order was ready in 10 minutes. pub atmosphere reminded me of my first job. Hard to tell I was in the right place cause the sign doesn’t say pig daddy’s but the address is right and when they saw me looking they invited me right in.
The only place in all of Delaware County that makes a Cuban sandwich with much respect ....the sandwich is loaded with pulled pork and sweet ham which is the only way I could describe it plus their choice of Carolina sauce which really matches well with other Cubano sandwiches I've had in the past...when I was in their restaurant they had a beautiful old fashioned bar as well as a dine in area which made for a lot of charm..so far I've had their Cubano sandwich twice and they did not disappoint either time. Hope I didn't forget that their Cubano also had the original pickles, mustard, Swiss, and came on a yummy roll and in closing I have not heard of or eaten another Cuban sandwich in all of Delaware County like I said....
This food takes me to the south without fail every time. This is food you eat with your eyes closed and you make that “mmmm” with every bite!! Definitely couldn’t get better bbq anywhere else!!
I think I came at a good time to get good and timely service. However the food was... How do I put this... Not what I expected. Mostly bland. Tiny containers of cole slaw and egg salad. Definitely not worth $15.37. However, if this kind of good is your jam, knock yourself out.
If you season your food this place is NOT for you. Everything taste like it was heated up straight out of the can and to your plate. I tried ribs, brisket, yams, beans, Mac and cheese, greens and more. The only 'flavor' was vinegar. Couldn't eat. Just threw the food away.
There was a hair in my bbq sauce, coleslaw was rotten, brisket was very dry, the chicken and pulled pork were edible but not really good. Everything tasted microwaved. I would not recommend this place.
Had a great dinner! Ordered chicken cordon bleu sandwich which was very good. Happy apples also tasted very good. Corn bread was average but a nice 4 piece portion so very shareable. Will be ordering again.
The sides were horrible. I got this 3 oz container of greens, did they run out? They sent me tortillas chips to make up for the greens, I'm assuming because I didn't ask for them. Mac& cheese, they're so right, definitely not my mom's. Terrible. I think it wilp be my last time ordering
Ordered from Uber eats. Food was fast and hot. The meat was absolutely delicious! The sides were so far past awful ! Canned collard greens would have been preferable no flavor totally bitter. The Mac and cheese was just plain awful. The hush puppies were not good but not disgusting. The coleslaw looked brown. The sweet potato fries were both burnt and soggy which is a skill they had no cinnamon no butter and no sugar even though the menu stated they would be. I’ll eat the meat again but I’d save money and not even bother with the sides.
