This place is great and I strongly recommend it! The food is high quality and the Jollof rice in particular is some of the best I have had in a while! Fanta the owner is social, friendly and welcoming. She has ties to Wassoulou and plays classic tunes from the region giving the place a great vibe. I will be coming here more often!

I ordered potatoes green and fufu the fufu fresh but this time the potatoes greens where a little not to my liking I still give them five stars because I wasn't pleased with my order but the women told me to come back and get something else I loved her compassion to keep my business I will get something else I appreciate her kindness and help. These kind of dishes are very important to me as a diabetic I can only eat certain things it's hard to find good food. Thank you Mis

Great food and Great service !!!

This restaurant is very stingy with meat. They give you lots of carbohydrate with small protein. How am I supposed to eat a lot of jollof rice with very little meat? I also ordered fufu with light soup. There’re were only 3 pieces of goat meat in there. And they charge $20 for each platter. So I paid $40 for very little meat. I also said I don’t want cabbage or any vegetables with my jollof rice but they added it anyway. They don’t follow customer orders exactly. I do not recommend this restaurant. It’s more expensive than other ones and isn’t worth the price.

This is the BEST African food I've had since I've lived in Philly. I am Nigerian, but do not like spicy food. This is the first jollof and fish I've had that was actually to my liking. They give you a super spicy sauce you can add if you want, but this rice was perfect for me already. The young woman at the counter was extremely kind and helpful as I asked questions about the menu. The onions on the fish were delectable and the portion size was well worth the price. I will definitely be back again!

Such a gem! Incredibly authentic, and our server/chef was very knowledgeable and shared some really interesting history about the dishes we were eating.

Worst FOOD I ever ate and I eat African food atleast 4 times a week and wanted to try a new place and I literally had to throw EVERYTHING away please don’t waste your time or money

Service was slow but the lady that works there is sweet, food was wonderful!!

Was in the neighborhood and tried out this restaurant for lunch. The interior has a plain, no-frills appearance, but each table has a different and interesting table covering. There is also a lot of takeout business, at least for lunch, so people were coming and going but few were seated. The owner, despite being busy, was perfectly lovely and helped me pick out my meal. My guest, a vegetarian, found sufficient options on the side order menu. The food seemed pricey, even allowing for pandemic supply issues, until I saw the portions. One entree could easily serve two, possibly three. The food was delicious and fresh, prepared while you wait, nothing sitting around. It seems there are currently only one or two employees, so don't expect fast food speed, but again, the food quality was worth the wait, both interesting and authentic. I cannot wait to eat my leftovers and will definitely go back next time I am in the neighborhood. Two final comments for the less adventuresome: 1) fish will be served with head and tail on, and 2) use the pepper sauce in the small container sparingly--it's hot! Enjoy!

Im disappointed I have been going here for months I always get the fish platter NEVER had an issue. Today I decided to try the lamb platter it is over cooked and tastes salty and preheated not fresh the rice taste preheated as well I will stick to fish platter
