Nice restaurant. It was very clean. Employees were all polite and friendly. Food came quickly and tasted good. Portions were big. Prices were rather solid too and cost less than similar chain restaurants.
We started with a group of 12. Our group ended up being a group of 10. We waited an hour to be seated. We waited another hour for our food. Then only half of us were served at once. The second half of the group waited an hour and a half for food. Through it all, our waitress was a 5, seating was a 2, the food was a 4 and the kitchen staff getting our food to us was a 2.5. There are some things that cannot be controlled. We will be back, but probably not with a large group. The management finally stepped up to get us seated and then took some % of the bill off when my husband talked with them about the service.
I hate to leave a bad review because they service is always great, but I ordered takeout today.. NY strip medium, steak fries and salad... The steak was well done, burnt in spots and fries not hot. Also requested silverware but got none..I know that Sundays can be quite busy, but disappointing to say the least.
I enjoyed the steak, and sides. The servers wear I love my job, and I believe it. Most restaurants can't get help to show up now but this texas roadhouse had at least 14 servers working. And they seemed to be enjoying their job laughing and smiling. Management and Corp. Must be doing something right. Good job Texas Road House in Union Town.
Never had a bad meal here. Rolls are top notch. Even the garlic shrimp is a tasty treat. Bacon grease rubbed, salt crusted baked loaded potatoes. Need I say more...
I would say I usually love Texas Roadhouse. I feel the prices are really good for steak. Service is usually good. My friends and I were going for dinner, kind of on the late side. We sat at the bar. Bar tender was attentive. We placed our orders. My NY strip came out as ordered. My friends filet did not, some how even though it was not put in the order as butterflied, that's how it came out. They offered multiple times to replace the steak, but she declined. But over all another excellent trip to Texas.
Wait was about 10 mins on Friday night, waitress was amazing. Even brought the horse over for my Aunt's 65 birthday but she was too embarrassed to sit on it. Food was really good. Definitely going back next time I'm out there.
