wonderful breakfast all around .waffle was terrific with egg and bacon. very enjoyable and filling . our server was fantastic. you did not have to ask for coffee refills and water. best service ever
My self along with 2 other friends went there for breakfast the wait was kinda lengthy but once we got our food the waitress puts my plate of food down and Her PEN was laying on my eggs.she then reached down with her bare hands picked the pen up said sorry then walked away. The pancakes tasted like burnt cardboard then 3.95 to add chocolate chips, the eggs were tasteless and the chicken noodle soup was lacking both chicken and noodles. All 3 of us for breakfast spent $62.95 for breakfast absolutely ridiculous! They dont accept card but do have an ATM but charge a serve charge.
The English Muffin was delicious and the waitress did pretty well for being new! Other than that though not too much good to say. The only thing that came out hot was the English muffin. The eggs and redskins were cold and both subpar for taste, but if they came out hot they might’ve tasted better. My brother also happened to get a hair in his redskin potatoes which is the main reason they got a 2 star, without they would’ve gotten a 3 star. Hopefully my experience was a one time thing.
The Waffle Shop is fine. Service was great and prices were not bad at all. The problem is with the food. I ordered pancakes with a side of sausage and my pancakes were heavy and lackluster. The sausage was that of a continental breakfast from a hotel. My friends seemed to enjoy their waffles and pancakes, but Pennsylvania residents have never experienced good diner food. I don't completely get the hype. Definitely one of the more average restaurants at Penn State - can't go wrong but your socks will not be knocked off.A serviceable place for Sunday brunch :)

We were driving through from Harrisburg to Erie and needed to stop someplace for breakfast. I'm so happy we found this Waffle Shop. Everything was fantastic. We knew from reading previous reviews that we needed to pay with cash only but at least there was an ATM inside to use.
For a seriously hearty well priced breakfast. Best bacon ever!!!! Friendly staff, coffee refills and the most scrumptious breakfast choices.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Our breakfast was served promptly and hot. Portions were large and the coffee was great. Looking forward to my next visit!
This was definitely the best waffle I’ve ever had! I had the cinnamon and apple and was definitely a lot to eat. My daughter had the breakfast burrito and she said it was really good too.
