The food here was ok; it did the job and was fresh. However, I definitely feel like the flavors could’ve been deepened for a better dining experience. The interiors were lovely and the service was even lovelier. We really enjoyed how hospitable and at home we felt at Sakura. If we give this another shot, we will definitely try their bento boxes and their Teppanyaki.

Teriyaki beef was well cooked and very tender, perfectly medium rare. Very satisfied with our meal, and delays were to be expected given the sign. The waitstaff was also very kind! Will be coming again next time we are in the area.

We have always had a good experience here. They have a lot of vegetable sushi options which I like as a vegetarian. Last time we got the fried rice, miso soup, and tofu. Our order has always been correct, on time, and tasted great.

I got these a few days ago, so pretty and yummy! ?

pretty delicious and affordable, and it certainly fits Asian style in a way that Americans would also like

So yummy! Incredibly affordable and impeccable quality when it comes to their menu! Nice to be able to dine in right now, we definitely missed it! BYOB and they take very good care of you! If you’re in the mood for delicious sushi and don’t want to bust the bank then this is your place!

Got the Sushi Bento for dinner. Everything was fresh. The three different rices were distinct (sushi, maki, plain). Sushi rice had the vinegar flavor, the maki rice was sticky and seemed to have very-slightly undercooked grains, and the plain rice was just that, simple with no flavor. The cuts of fish were alright with decent texture. The tempura and other sides were nice additions. The miso soup and ginger salad dressing were standard and good. Presentation and use of to go boxes was on point. If it had waited for much longer in the bag/box my fish would have been too warm. Price is in the eye of the beholder.

Have ordered their boiling seafood for several times. Really recommend it. Besides, it only takes about five minutes to drive to Sakura so that is very convenient. Delicious as always and love their service!

My favorite sushi spot in state college so far, however I only got the sashimi and have yet to try any of the the tasty looking rolls! Fish was tasty, price was decent, and service was great!

I went to every sushi restaurant in State College and Sakura tastes so much better than any other restaurant. Sakura is in a league of it's own.The 3 roll special is pretty cheap but tastes amazing. I like: Salmon + Spicy Salmon + Spicy Tuna.I tried most of their specialty rolls. My favorites are the Titanic Roll and the I Love U Roll.Even their other food tastes better than other restaurants. Chicken Teriyaki is amazing and the portion is large. The only issue is that orders after 5PM take way too long. Sometimes it takes an hour.So I'd recommend ordering before 4PM. My orders only take 15-20 minutes.
