Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my experience here. There are other Rita's near my hometown that I enjoy but this was not one of them. My girlfriend's cotton candy water ice did not taste right. However, I cannot comment on other water ice flavors. I bought a Reese's Take 5 Crunch Concrete custard. When I received the dish, the quantity of custard and take 5 pieces was not adequate. I was charged over $6 for a small amount of custard in what seemed to be a small size cup. Additionally, the custard was not filled to the top of the cup and there wasn't much take 5 crunch in the mixture. Total, our bill was $10 for a small water ice and a small partially filled take 5 custard. I know Rita's is pricey, but this was overall a disappointing experience. You're better off going to the PSU creamery right down the road.
Worst place ever... I was trying to get a sugar-free Italian ice... they only had tangerine... that wasn't happening so I asked for a chocolate ice. The girl handed me a chocolate custard.. I explained that I wanted an Italian ice, she said we don't have that today... she said the flavors they had were on the sign... there were only like 6 flavors... no chocolate... no cherry.... seriously a joke. Parking lot is weird and totally sucks as well. I think they just opened and have no idea what they are doing at this location... literally go anywhere else if you can.

The new location on N. Atherton Street is great! All the staff are up-beat, friendly and helpful. The free parking behind is a welcome addition. I'm glad they offer sugar-free flavors and also love their custard!

Rita's water ice is a delightful cold treat on a hot summer day. Try it with the Gelato, it won't disappoint.
Had an awful experience. Went there with my husband, and I ordered one ice cream. The lady gave me a very disappointing face when I said I will order one ice cream (not two). Left very unhappy.

Horrible experience. Gave them a 20 for my misto shake, and they shorted me by 10 dollars in change. After realizing this, I politely waited in line to try to get the rest of my change. The worker yelled at me that I had only given 10 and that I was wrong. Left feeling disrespected and very upset.
