Is Pita Cabana authentic? No. I must have had hundreds of gyro/doner/shawarma in my life and have never seen shawarma served like this (meat with cheese and toasted like a quesadilla).Ok, but is it tasty? I mean, if your definition of tasty is underseasoned fries and meat with cheese in pita with nothing fresh or bright in the vicinity, go for it. Lebanese food is served with fresh vegetables/salad to balance and brighten things, which you’d assume a “platter” would come with. Unfortunately not.Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but my plate had no redeeming qualities. On the positive: The two employees were very friendly and nice.

Delicious food! Service time was super quick. Very approachable and polite staff members. Inside was clean and well organized. And their prices are reasonable in my opinion considering their portions. Will be definitely coming back here again.

Top 5 restaurants in State College. Delicious, big portioned and cheap. The Satsah Chicken Platter (+ extra chicken) was absolutely amazing. So good. And for the price, definitely worth it. Great portion, ate this to end a fast. I was very full at the end and I’m a big eater. Tender chicken, great marinade, great flavors. The perfect meal.Roommates got the Granada Sandwich chicken and couldn’t only finish half. Was also very good.

Ordered chicken shawarma plate and was so bad, it was the end of the shawarma that they have and most of the chicken I got was fat and skin which is disgusting for me.Also ordered Falafel rice plater and it was one of the worst Falafel I’ve ever tried. Our third order was gyro rice plater which was eatable but will never order it again.Lady who’s taking orders doesn’t have idea about Arabic food.I might go again to try the whole chicken with rice.

Party of two, visited on a Saturday for lunch, place is roomy, with intersting decor, wall art, clean and welcoming. Ordered at counter, we had the Arabic platter and a salad. Food was 9/10 for taste and portion size. We like our food so much that we also ordered takeout before leaving. Fresh cut tomatoes, red onions would have made the platter a 10/10. Will surely visit again when in the area.

Their Shistawook platter (comes with chicken) is highly recommended. Tried it 3 times till now. Loved it every time . Their salad items are also fresh and delicious. Food served are halal. Lebanese style chicken, lamb grills are great too!

Ordered Roasted Chicken with fries, Shawarma and Tacos. Delicious food! Good halal option in State College.

Dropped my daughter off at Penn State at the end of Thanksgiving break. She wanted to eat lunch before I returned home. She chose Pita Cabana Grill because she loves the lentil soup and the Lebanese cuisine offers a change of pace from everyday casual dining.I had the roasted lamb platter. Very tender and tasty lamb with rice, salad, and a mix of vegetables. Will definitely go again sometime when I'm in the area again.

Was in the area last night, picked the place according to reviews and ordered a bunch. The food has no flavor, no spice. There was ketchup on the chicken , as of it was a sauce. And the beef is bland frozen meat.I ordered shawarma and the sandwich was meatballs, rolled in tortilla. This is not shawarma and not what is described on their website. The order was ready on time.Never ordering from there again

Piles of food. Meat was a bit dry, but lots of sauce options. There hummus was too heavy on the tahini for me.
