So i stopped here after i left the gyro place, just to see what they were offering... this place is a Turkish Mom and Pop joint, incredible to say the least! I wish I could give at least 8 stars.. the Pide was much bigger than i expected and it was packed with goodness- lamb, spices, red sauce and topped with cheese. the dough was soft and gooey. It came with green " mayo" which added a whole other flavor profile.... now I'm hungry, I might hit it up again tonight !!

I ordered tuna pide, it was soo good and big . They were generous on giving tuna and cheese. Really loved the food!

Food is not fresh. The name is middle eastern food, but is not.I gave 2 stars, because the person is nice, but food is not fresh and does not taste middle eastern.

The pide was very greasy. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be. Taste was okay. Service was slow even though the store was empty. They were still amenable.

We went there with great appetite that we will have a real turkish pide. However it was something close but not it at all. The service was friendly at least as it is run by the family members. Location was good. If you like flatbread you should definitely try.

I really liked these dishes. They are #14 from the wall (beef on the rice), Spinach Borek (taste like spinach spring roll), and Baklava (pistachio & honey taste condensed croissant). It was good experience to try Turkish, but #14 could be better with less salt or sauce.

We got kunefe.Kunefe is really good and delicious. Thank you

Delicious food, relatively quick, but a bit expensive. DEFINITELY worth it though. The owners are good people. I reccomend any pide, or vine leaves.

Really wanted to like this place. Food tastes great… but it’s unnecessarily greasy. I’m not sure where it’s from (maybe “a dash of olive oil”?) I’ve never had a Pide this greasy before. Service was great, and owners are nice. Missed opportunity. Hopefully it’s a one-off.

The most authentic family owned place in State College to this day!If you’re new to the deliciously prepared halal Middle Eastern food, then this is a place to go.Casual on the inside yet meeting fine-dining level cooking with a home touch and caring service! ❤️Definitely try out “Mandi” cooked with love as an entree or “Kahi and Geymar” pastry for either a dessert or healthy nutritious breakfast along with sweet and crispy “Kadaif” to start your day along with “Menemen” (aka “the Turkish omelette”) served with gourmet cheese plate, pickled tomatoes and brine olives along with a jar of imported honey! Or you can even go for a “Lahmajun”, round, thin piece of dough topped with minced meat, minced vegetables and herbs including onions, garlic, tomatoes, red peppers, and parsley… yum ?. :)The menu board includes photographs that accompany each dish, which aid in preparation and presentation as well as offer a glimpse of the owners’ couple captivating international life.P.S. I am praying the business of this wonderful family owners has not been affected by the toll of the pandemic and that everybody is safe and healthy in the context of this ongoing crisis. ?
