Staff are always super friendly and helpful. The food is really good, but they are a bit pricey (for my budget). But my issue is with the Iced Coffee. I get my coffee here every morning, but the past few months it has been such a disappointment. More often than not, it's very weak and watered down. Nothing like how it used to be. Otherwise, nice place to eat/study/chat. FYI-- the Panera on S. Allen St, downtown, has the BESSST Iced Coffee!
I am currently working here and I can say from my first few days here it is an absolutely fantastic place to work. All of the staff are very kind and helpful, when a mistake is made there is no putting down of someone, everyone helps pull the weight evenly, the managers are kind and understanding when situations come to light. Overall Panera is a fantastic place to work, they will change your mind on line work for restaurants quickly. It's amazing to work in a place where people enjoy what they do and the people that they work with. There is always smiles being spread around the building, laughter when things are getting fast paced, and a helping hand when you are feeling like you are falling behind.
As you can see unprepared uncooked tiny little bagel same way grilled cheese every time we go there in the beginning thought just me having the problem maybe next time will get better every time you go same problem over and over and yet they still stay very busy they will not have my money next time that’s for sure
During my 2 weeks stay in State College, this place on North Atherton street became my go to place for a quick lunch or dinner.I prefer their healthy soups and salads. They do have great a great selection of sandwiches and baked goods which I did not try.Ordering is quick using the various terminals and food is prepared fast. There is always enough seating.Of all the items I tried, my favorite was the Turkish chilli bowl. Simple, hearty and delicious.For drinks, I usually prefer their Cafe Latte. What I found really nice is that they don't charge extra if you replace the normal milk with almond milk.A big thumbs up.
This place is usually always busy especially the weekends. It can become very crowded and wait times are usually 10-25mins. The food usually comes out good quality but this can fluctuate. The staff can become stressed with the volume of people so can be short with customers but when there are less people they are usually friendly.
Panera is always good where you have many fresh options of breads and sweets.I like the bread tomato soup, salads and thier pizza too.I like this branch where you find fire heat system.Quite place for studying and doing homeworks.
The food at this Panera location is always good. They were however swamped which meant my food wasn't ready until 15 minutes AFTER our scheduled pickup time (which Panera scheduled for 15 minutes LATER than our requested pickup time). That's life in 2022.
order took 1 hour and 2 minutes exactly. My coffee was ice cold (ordered hot) and my sandwich was somehow warmer than it.Don't go during peak hours unless Panera mgmt decides to actually start hiring for competitive prices.It's just a sandwich and a coffee too. That should be the fastest order you can place.
Staff and service is top notch. Orders are always accurate and prepared in a timely manner.However, In the last year I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT decrease in the quality of their fresh ingredients. Salads are always prepared with wilted, brown, and sometimes soggy greens. Sandwich’s containing lettuce and tomato are soggy and lifeless as well. This is a huge disappointment considering one of Panera’s values/beliefs is to provide “food that is deliciously crafted with clean, freshly prepared, reasonably raised, and high-quality ingredients.” Some additional attention to detail and quality control could easily address these concerns.Thank you!
Quick service. Delicious baked goods. Coffee is amazing. MyPanera+ is totally worth it if you frequent Panera for coffee or tea. The staff here is always friendly and helpful as well. We love stopping here and will be back.
