This is a lively pub with many choices for dinner. We had the fish and chips which was fresh and arrived hot! The Jolly Roger stout was a real treat.
The food here was pretty good, nothing amazing but better than average, and the beers were great which certainly makes sense.
My go to spot on State College now. Great food and beer is legit. The buffalo mac and cheese with Brother Rods hot sauce is ???☺️. And the mustard for the pretzel will kick you in the nose lol. Tofu wings are also pretty good.Highly recommend getting their signature apricot ale with a spiced rum sidecar (then dump it in the beer). I love it here.
I went to my local hardware store outside Montgomery and saw several flavors of soda bottled by Otis. Since I try hard to support local I bought a 6 pack of the grape soda. It's delicious...reminds me of the soda I had as a kid ( I'm over 65). I'll be getting more and since the reviews are so good, just might take a trip to the pub. Great soda y'all.
I have gone her several times for their Sunday Brunch now and it is truly fabulous. It's not like your regular brunch buffet, very unique choices & super fresh food. Very nice atmosphere for a date night or special occasion! :-)

Wings used to be good NOT anymore gross. Got mild with ranch they didn't give us ranch. And garlic parm. The wing color was exactly the same when they shouldn't. Never again. ?
I just sat at a table for 15-20min and no one even acknowledged us. They just got over a pop and were cleaning up And I understand the servers were busy, but the two hostesses easily could’ve brought us water at the very least. Two servers walked by and one picked up signed checks and didn’t even say “I’ll be right with you”. We watched another table of 4 be greeted within two minutes while we sat there ignored. No one wants to go to a restaurant and feel invisible. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before. I think our group is giving up on Otto’s at this point.
Great food and good beer. Experience is usually very good when we go. Be sure to call if you're trying to do takeout, they don't do takeout on weekends.
We sat there for over 15 minutes at our table after being seated, without ever being greeted, while other tables who came in after us were being served. Meanwhile a busser cleaning the table next to us could hear our displeasure, and the hostesses could see us get uneasy and no one did a thing. When we went to leave the hostesses acted like it was a surprise. No one seemed to want to help. Do not think I will ever be back here. They need some serious staff training.
