Meyer Dairy has good ice cream, but terrible customer service. I was here with my 6 year old son, standing in one of the two lines and when I got to the front of the line the lady taking orders decided to make herself busy doing other things behind the counter. I asked if I could give my order but she absolutely ignored me, keeping herself busy behind the counter. There is no decency in this place for customers. Two people were helped in the other line and I was fed up and left with my son. Went to the Penn State Creamery and had quick service and REALLY GREAT ice cream.
Always a bright spot in a hot summer day in State College. After some outdoor activities, we needed some ice cream and Meyer's is always a great choice. The ice cream was refreshing and we enjoy the variety of flavors for any taste. There is often a short wait but it's worth it.
Definitely not the best I have had so far. But it’s surely the best one here in this small town. Meyers >>>>>>> Berkey.
I drive a hour out of my way to get Myers farm chocolate milk in state college Pa its so delicious it's like drinking your desert if you want one of the best chocolate milk and your in or around state college do yourself a favor and get some
Very good. Teaberry ice cream wasn't as "teaberry-ish" as I've had in the past.If I lived in the area I'd definitely get my milk there because it's in glass containers and you can return them.
Nice people and terrific ice cream. Decent prices. We really enjoyed the coconut chip and mocha chip flavors.
Nice, clean, simple little ice-cream store with a variety of flavours. Even has milkshakes and other stuff besides ice-cream.The prices were typical for a small shop (not expensive)The employees were nice and I had no issues. Mainly didn't give a 5-star due to the colour scheme.
We started getting our milk at Meyer Dairy a few months ago, because we wanted to support local dairy farmers. We are so happy that we made this decision! The milk is delicious. I used to think all milk was the same, but then we started getting Meyer Dairy milk and I realized that there is a higher quality out there. We also started getting the heavy cream regularly, because it is so delicious and perfect for cooking with or adding to coffee. We especially like their system of using glass bottles and returning them. It reduces waste which is a huge bonus! The prices are absolutely reasonable, and the people who work there are friendly. I haven't even mentioned how amazing their ice cream is yet! It is definitely a little more expensive than store brand ice cream at the grocery store, but you are getting higher quality product. The chocolate chip brownie dough flavor is our absolute favorite! It is unique and delicious.
Went here because Berkey Creamery line was too long. Honestly liked the Peanut Butter ice cream they have here more than a lot of Berkey flavors. Great price too. Definitely will be coming back.
If you're a local, you know this place, and if you're not, you still might. It's a great little creamery that rivals Penn States without dealing with all of the students. There's always the argument that this place is better, but I find them similar enough that it's a hard argument to make. When you're talking about some of the best ice cream in the country, of course, it's going to be a tight race.
