Amazing experience at GuDong. Service was great and they have a very large variety of offerings. Definitely some of the best hot pot I’ve had and that’s coming from NYC. Will definitely stop by any time I’m in State College. I just wish I took a picture before finishing everything!

Fantastic food! My favorite broths were the original and spicy broths and the meat tasted amazingly fresh. Looking forward to coming back here each time I'm in the area!
I can remember having hot pot at my best friend's house growing up and I've always loved the social aspect of hot pot compared to traditional American food. GuDong is the most authentic hot pot service I've had since I was a boy and I would recommend it to anyone who wants their tastebuds to be extremely satisfied.
I'd recommend Gudong if you want to try something new. Hot pot is a Chinese classic, and the owners are happy to help you get set up. Whenever I've introduced hot pot to my friends, they have good time and get hooked.
Outrageous time waiting. Over an hour. And 50 minutes ago I was told it would be 20 minutes.
I don’t think I can express how satisfied I am! The woman who gave me my food was super kind, and the whole set up was just amazing. Them giving you a mini hot pot, utensils, flame for the hot pot, and all the ingredients to do it at home? What an amazing deal, and a great idea. I had so much fun setting it and cooking all the ingredients with my husband. It’s a great date idea and they also give you all the cooking times for the food if you don’t know how long to cook it. The packaging was clean and amazing. Very eye appealing and easy. 100% love this place and it’s people.

One of two options for hot pot in town, the other being Hundred Degrees. The difference is GuDong delivers supplies and food to your home, which is nice if you're not sure what to buy at asian marts, or like to take your time with friends. I recommend the classic plan your first time (feeds 2-3) and adding items a la carte for bigger groups. Beef and tofu are the most popular items in my experience if you're not sure what to get.
So delicious! The food here is so good and the owners are wonderful people. I highly recommend this restaurant!
