The food was decent. The workers are the rudest people. They were yelling at customers for no reason and using inappropriate language. For that reason, I will not be coming back. They ruined my experience at Penn State.
This place is a hidden gem! The website makes it super easy to order, and my food comes hot (and delicious)! D. P. Dough is open late too! ?
My wife and I consider DP Dough a perfect gameday (or any day) food. The calzones are tasty and they comes out quick. There are a ton of different menu items, including a BYO option, and the service has always been friendly. I've been eating DP Dough for 20 years and it's always been a treat!
I got DP dough through a delivery service and it was great. The app said it would take 45 to 50 minutes to get to my apartment and I got it under a half hour. I think the cheesy bread is right up there with pokey sticks from Gumby‘s pizza and the calzones are always phenomenal. My only recommendation is if you are really hungry and get a calzone just get two because they are a little bit on the smaller side
My order was supposed to arrive over two hours ago (and still has not arrived). I called the restaurant multiple times but after ringing multiple times, my calls were ultimately declined. I ended up having to cancel my order altogether and get a full refund. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me when ordering from here. Always an hour+ wait time from when they say it’ll arrive.
D.P. Dough in State College is one of our "go to" delivery options. The food is always very good, but our order from 11/29 was really excellent. The service was fast and the driver was friendly. Great job! The only suggestion for improvement would be to mark the Stromboli boxes with the contents (we often get several and it's sometimes hard to tell which is which).
I order the the chicken and bacon calzones everytime. It’s one of my sons favorite places to order from. Great late night food and excellent on time delivery!
Best calzones in Penn State!! I took my daughters here the summer of 2019 and they could not wait to come back! My husband and I ate here when I was in college 2003-2005. So glad D. P. Dough hasn't changed.
The calzones are really good and their delivery drivers are very friendly !!
