100 beers on tap..food was great and staff was awesome
My wings weren’t done & looked like they were pumped with steroids. I was given all drums as well. I asked for extra crispy & still pink inside. I paid 18$ for undercooked wings & maybe 1 drink. Scott is making a killing from this & can’t even hire cooks to properly serve at his bars/restaurants.
Great college bar, weekends get really crowded post 8pm so waiting time for getting drinks at the bar might be 15-20 mins. Tasty bar food
It was empty at lunch time, so maybe I should have know. The menu is very very limited. Food was ok, nothing fabulous. Waitress was great, prices were good. Food was sub par.
Great place to get crushed. They go 2+ x of their capacity because they would rather pay off code then deal with only having the correct number of people in there. They also are more than happy to assault people to get them out of the bar.
Nice Staff. There are a lot of big tables - good for larger groups and families with 8+ year olds. The location can't be beat, right on Allen Street. If you are going to watch sports and hang out - lots of TV options, but the sound isn't so loud that you can't hear. The food was good. If you go there during the day you can still smell the sticky bar smell from the night before- that's my only complaint. It was our first time coming here and I would definitely go back!
Had a great time loved the downstairs pool hall and game room..Chicken Fingers were done just right too
This place is probably ok to go drink and party. We were there for lunch. We had wings and burgers. Service was good. My son liked the wings. The rest of us had burgers. They were just ok. The bacon was raw and gross. I had to completely dismantle my burger to get it off. Bc it was smothered in cheese it really butchered the sandwich and I ended up eating just the meat. It also came with a bag of chips and we had to buy a side of fries bc we didn’t realize this. Their beer list was quite impressive so I’d go back to have drinks but I’d eat somewhere else….just wasn’t impressed at all.
Not only the best bar in State College, but maybe my favorite anywhere!! Arcade games and pool tables downstairs, what feels like 1,000 TV's upstairs to catch any game you could want, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great time, can't recommend enough!
I enjoy going here during the weekday and sitting at the bar with a friend or two. The food has always good, especially the Colorado Rockie. The service is great, I mean genuinely above par for State College. As for the tap list, that's got to be one of it's crowning features. I mean sure, there's TVs up everywhere and you can watch games or the Olympics, but what brings me back every time is the tap list.
