Very good food, and pretty good service. I heard a person bickering a little bit over at the bar, but that was fine. Most of the choices are alcoholic beverages, so many of the drinks for kids and people under 21 are limited.
It is okay, but I am not sure why is this 16$. I was expecting at least more mashed potatoes.
Food was excellent, but the server we had was horrible. We only saw her one time and that was to ask about the appetizers.she never even came by to offer refills. When we said something to the manager he made it right. Kudos to him. Overall the food was good. The mgmt was excellent. The server was subpar.
My friend and I went to Applebee's because I was dying for one of their Wildberry Fruit Smoothies! I decided to order a half rack of the double-glazed baby back ribs. Would I have changed anything? Yes, I would have gotten a whole rack! Mmmmmmm! These ribs are so scrumptious, so delicious, fall-off-the-bone fantastic! I can't wait to go back :)))
I will never go back to this establishment again. Decided to have a dinner last night with my daughter. The food was very salty, but not the worst. A few hours after this dinner, my stomach began to hurt terribly, severe vomiting and Diarrheas. I didn’t sleep all night, And the next day I couldn’t go to work. Please, if you want to keep your health stay away from these place.
Stopped in at 9pm on a Tuesday evening for a drink and some half-price apps. It wasn't crowded so we were greeted and seated upon entering the place. I've been to many different Applebee's and I place this one at the top of my list of the best ones I've visited. The appetizers were hot, plentiful and half price. The draft beer was cold. The sangria was tasty. The food and drinks were brought to us in a timely manner. But the clincher of it all was our server, who was pleasant, friendly, witty, a great conversationalist and competent. He made our good dining experience into a wonderful one. For this I tip my hat and say Thank you, THOMAS B.
Applebee's is my favorite casual dining place for American food, especially in Kuwait where I live. Their US location in State College did not disappoint. We went for an early dinner. Half the tables were empty but still there was a wait of around 20 minutes (could be due to covid issues). Anyway, we were in a hurry so chose to sit at the bar, where the super busy bartender was mixing the cocktails for the whole restaurant plus serving food to the customers seated at the bar.For starters, we ordered their double crunch bone-in chicken wings. They were really crunchy and tasty. For the main course, I went with a 12 oz t-bone steak. The steak was perfect. Tasty, juicy and done exactly as I requested. The steak went very well paired with a nice glass of wine. The prices are affordable and well worth for the quality you get.Highly recommended.
We ate at the bar due to lack of servers. People were nice. My husband's steak was good and my pasta was a little dry.
My husband and I try to dine here once a week. The prices are reasonable and the service people are attentative to customers' needs and wishes. We enjoy the onion ring and Bavarian pretzel appetizers. The restaurant is always clean, and covid cleaning protocols are followed.
Did curbside pickup. Normally I would have said this is good food. I ordered quesadillas and they were all BURNT. I cannot believe the cook put these in the box to give us. And here I thought I got my new go to takeout/pickup. Management needs to get rid of that cook
