We regularly stop in for breakfast but usually on week days. The food is always great! This time was a Saturday and as usual the food was fantastic. However when we got our check we noticed that some of the charges were higher than listed on the menu. I completely understand needing to increase prices due to todays crazy economy, but you need to let people know. It seems that we were not the only people this had happened to, as we were checking out another woman at the register was questioning her bill as well.
I was recommended this place by the hotel staff and couldn't be more satisfied. The food was delicious, delivered fast, by a friendly waitress, and reasonably priced. Can't get much better. Tons of options.
Viewmont is a local favorite! The staff are extremely nice and customer service is great. The diner is clean and the food is true comfort food. We love eating breakfast at Viewmont. They have melt in your mouth pancakes, tasty hashbrowns, crispy bacon and our favorite corn beef hash in the area. We always enjoy our experience.
We were looking for a breakfast place that wasn’t a chain restaurant. We found Viewmont Diner. The food was fresh and came out fast. Hot & delicious! Happy customer. My husband says they definitely are worth a 5 star review. Great customer service
These stars for service. Those ladies were wonderful. The breakfast... Not so much. Home fries were grilled mashed potatoes! No onion, no peppers, no taste. Egg whites... Blah.
This is my comfort place. I have been coming here since I was little. Their soups can not be touched they are so delicious! The staff is always to welcoming and friendly!

Rud old waitress Friday evening... Expensive and no taste to food... Many other places in Scranton that are fair priced and good food... It's a one time wonder for tourists.Most are fake reviews from a paid review agency.Skip this place.
Overall great diner menu. Love all omelettes, quesadillas, club sandwiches, and paninis. Great soup specials as well.
